True...but that's because Coleman, Treadwell, Doctson, Fuller all worse than the top 3 this year...despite injuries

I remember hearing hype about Davis last year, and liked what I saw from him much more than those other guys in that draft class. But I agree that Ross is much better than Coleman and Fuller if he can stay healthy, and Williams is easily better than Treadwell.

Yeah no doubt...Ross can be a stud if he stays healthy. He has the production, routes, and speed to back it. I think Williams is a better Treadwell, and Davis is the best all around of the 3. I just hope Davis can do it against better CB's...I guess time will tell. Either way, we are in a MUCH better position with Davis next to Matthews and Taylor/Sharpe. Could be downright lethal and especially in the red zone

Just a honest question, do you have faith in Robiskie calling more passing plays? We are a run first team and got very predictable with our offense as the season went on. I don't mind the rushing attack but DeMarco wore down a bit, maybe it was the injury but would have liked to have seen Henry get more snaps. I just hope we open the passing attack more.

I honestly think it was foolish that Henry didn't get more snaps, especially after the Murray injury. He didn't average quite the number of yards Murray did, but it was close and with more carries, he might have been able to up that total.

Yeah...Like you and Rwill, I think Henry deserves more snaps. Robiskie did get predictable, but it was working and we had no weapons to keep opposing Defenses honest. I'm really hoping that the added speed and threats will push back defenses and open up the playbook...If run right, we could be scary If even a few rooks step up. I think they trusted Murray on pass catches more as well.

It's a good question. I think there a few parts to it:

    1. They wanted to ease Mariflota into the new offense last season and also try to establish a run first/hard nosed identity for the offense. As well as help build up his confidence as the season wore on.

    2. I think it shows how much the coaching staff(particularly Mularkey) values and cares for Mariflota. They did a fabulous job of protecting him, and truly treating him like the franchise, weather it be scheming for extra blockers, simple reads or full spread back into his comfort zone. From that perspective it really showed lots of depth offensively.

I don't think you can sleep on Robiskie, he's been in this league a long time and he's cut his teeth in the passing game, not as a run game coordinator. The interview a few days ago shows how much he expects from his QBs/WRs as far as winning, at the line of scrimmage and at ball point.

So hopefully, he continues to evolve the offense as Mariflota gets healthy, but this is also a great opportunity for the extension of the pass game with all the extra shell game(7v7). How he sets up matchups going forward will be big, how he uses 11 personnel, and my new favorite Titan grouping 21. Should be interesting none the less.

Murray made a bunch of clutch catches for us last year especially on 4th downs. I was pretty impressed with that aspect of his gm.

Exactly...Henry isnt bad by any means, but he wasn't on the level of Murray in either running or passing and more importantly experience. I fully expect Henry to get more workload this year, especially since we SHOULD be able to count on the receiving game a bit more.

One of the issues I feel like we saw with Henry, he was sent in on predictable plays. When Henry took the field you almost knew a run was coming. That doesn't quite give him an advantage and he still managed to get positive yards most of the time.
