Insomnia and found a cool spreadsheet online and decided to do a bit of a write-up on our league. This is all stream of consciousness so no organization lol.

Every 'expert' disagrees pretty much (esp in july) and fantasy football is random as hell so if you have your players higher graded than the consensus than you'll have to adjust your score yourself. each of these rankings ignores defense as they're more random. If you believe in your defense then you should add a slight boost to your overall grade.

    starting lineups:

So the first table is the starting lineup ranking. This is the REDRAFT ranking for every teams starting lineup. This uses the points estimated per start from fantasypros.com and assumes there are no injuries, and that you will never sub out a player (expect byes). I'm not even sure how they figure suspensions.

Five teams are in the first tier. Ensc leads with Thaky SDM 43 and Rek behind. Bottom tier is calgary, 88, and fred. Its super important to note though that these rankings are super close. Almost less then a percentage separates the top team from the bottom.

    By the category:

Ensc and Crows QBs: Ensc I understand. I think bradford is slightly underrated but Tyrod is iffy. I think Stafford will be able to carry Smith though and surprised by the rankings. high points here are the Tom Brady from 520 and the 'Aaron Rodgers show' from calgary.

RB: Ensc's duo is just insane. Highest non-TE ranking (which are skewed by Gronk and Kelce). Also strong is Kyle's Bell + Gurley. 43 and Fry also have great potential. Lowest points here are Vondy's Lynch and Riddick, and Calgary's Blount and Miller (underrated!), and 88s Powell and Mixon

WR: Crow featuing the strongest for this season. No surprise imo. Next tier of SDM, myself, and Ensc. Really depends on injuries imo. Lowest is somehow Fry!? which i think is underrating his WRs.

TE: Gronk and Kelce leading the show. Nothing really else to talk about.

redraft rankings WITH the depth. When our teams get injuries higher ratings will have more depth:

You can see the 'grand total' changes big time though with the depth. Vondy goes from bottom 5 starting lineup to the best redraft rating through his TE, QB, WR depth. 43 as well seperates himself from the rest of us with WRs and TEs. I almost feel like the TE depth is skewing the data slighly but probably cause my backup is Everett. Ensc and Fry somehow improve their RB scores with some really good backup RBs. Best WR startup depth is 43, rek, and Crow. If youre looking for a trade look at teams with dark green for this season.

    Finally, the long-term dynasty ratings:

Even with zero-valued picks next year the data says I have the best dynasty value. Held by my strong young QB duo. Probably overskewed by QBs due to superflex. the next team is the opposite approach and has their value from their future draft picks in 520. The strongest strength of any team in all of the data is 520's stockpile of draft picks for next draft (19.11%!). Interesting to see if he keeps them or trades them for players. SDM also set up long term with strong WRs and some real potential with his QBs. Bottom of the pack is 43, who dynastyFFtools does not love long term. However hes #2 in redraft rankings so he can be win-now.

This chart probably helpful for teams looking to trade for long-term value.

Theres a really real chance that the dynasty rankings are overvaluing extra players in position so really don't go strictly off the rosters. Of course a team with 4 QBs will have more value then a team with 2 even if it may not be true.

Alright just remember its all for fun anyways and these rankings are going to be hilariously different next year.

Thaky being ahead of me is ridiculous. RIDICULOUS. His current starting lineup had 1700.6 points last season. My current starting lineup, with a rookie accounting for 0 points, had 1737.3.

    Thaky sucks. Fry is awesome.

    yea thanks for reminding me.

probably better waiting off until the season gets going and i see what my team is made of. i feel trading him away blows my team up and i still think i could push for the playoffs.

Yeah, I didn't think right after the draft would be the time you'd make that move, but it never hurts to ask.

Here's to hoping Matt Stafford breaks his leg in the preseason! :beerbang:
