You're pretty much incapable of putting anything in context aren't you?

I can't imagine you'd find anyone, even in Atlanta, who would argue that Matt Ryan had a better 2012 season than Aaron Rodgers, but Ryan's QBR was higher.

It baffles me that a guy can have a higher touchdown total and touchdown percentage, a lower interception total and interception percentage, more yards per attempt, more adjusted yards per attempt and more yards per completion yet have a lower total rating in a statistic that is supposed to bring everything together.

QB Rating isn't perfect, but if it can't be used as an argument, what can?

People try to discredit QBR rating but only when it suits them. It's hard to argue that it doesn't accurately display the best QBs in the league... every time. Same with the worst. You can look at any year. 2016:

To me, and this is my opinin.
My opinion in a passing league (I know alot of people would disagree) the best metric at evaulating a QB is winning percentage. Every metric is going to have its "pro's" and "cons" but to me debating on top 5 QBs isnt just QBR or even close stats, but winning. Wins and losses. Sometimes its a horrible metric (see the VY debate were having in the other thread)

The better a quarterback plays, the higher his chances are of winning games. That applies to every player at every position, but quarterbacks undoubtedly control the outcome more than anyone else on the field.

Bringing the defense into equation, something the QB has absolutely nothing to do with, makes that a useless measurement, IMO. There are average QBs on playoff teams and great QBs on bad teams every year. Vince Young is far from the only exception.

Those average QBs on playoff teams arent evaulating teams to superbowls or even AFC/NFC Title games.Great QBs with awful defenses are taking their teams to the playoffs, nfc title games, See Rodgers.

    That's two different stats.

ESPN has a QBR rating which is different from QB rating which you highlighted in your attachment.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Total_quarterback_rating

I discredit every ESPN stat as garbage.

So the GOAT QB is Otto Graham, followed by Tom Brady, Daryle Lamonica and Roger Staubach?

Or is this a "modern era" thing?
Starting in 1978, the winning percentage top 10 contains(having started at least 20 games)
    Jim McMahon (#5)
    Danny White (#7)
    Steve Bono (#9)

And leaves john elway, Jim Kelly and Brett favre outside the top 10.

Winning percentage is BS for a QB stat.
