Damn I feel great this morning

While I too could complain about some of the play calls, it's hard to argue against 36 points

Excellent defensive adjustments in the second half. Ryan & Adoree played well.

    We beat the Clots!

cool win, glad the streak is over but realistically there were more negatives than positives, and alot of red flags.

    - Another game of terrible 1st half playcalling
    - Secondary made another back up look like Brady
    - We got absolutely no pass rush vs a terrible o line (again)
    - Decker still dropping passes
    - DeMarco still hasn't got his burst back, he also missed a block leading to the pick 6
    - Brice McCain covered TY Hilton more than Logan Ryan (who we paid 10m a year)
    - Our backup QB is so bad that we basically put wheelchair Marcus out there
    - A loss would of really put Mike Mularkey on the hot seat, we're trending for Jeff Fisher territory pretty quickly.

    good things

    - Jayon Brown
    - Adoree getting better in coverage
    - Derrick Henry is finally lowering his shoulder on runs
    - Lewans energy
    - Jayon Brown
    - Mariota is tough & is improving the deepball
    - Jayon Brown

Play of the gm for me hands down... Woody on 4th & 1. Made up some serious ground and got the stop.

Good win, finally got the Colts monkey off of our back. We still have major issues on defense and some head scratching play calling at times.

Bottom one, Marcus is a stud and a warrior. He was obviously hobbled but came out and had one of his best games of the year to will his team to victory. It was nice to see some halftime adjustments for the better for a change too!

I was at the game last night....with that...

    - 1st half play calling could have been more aggressive...the sweep plays inside the 5 worked 2 weeks ago but everyone has seen the film of that now. That being said, we started to take control in the second half. The 4 and inches QB sneak was ballsy...no one was expecting it from a gimpy QB and Mariota said afterward he's not even done a QB sneak since high school.
    - My opinion is that Brissett is a lot better than you think. Someone is going to pay him next year.
    - The Colts O-line was playing much better last night, both on pass protection and run blocking, especially in the first half. Gore's bursts in the first half were largely from excellent blocking that made large chuck runs easy.
    - Decker dropping passes??? He was 7 of 9 for 88 yards...best game he's had in a long time and certainly best game as a Titan. What game were you watching?
    - Murray had a fine performance. The pick 6 was kind of a fluke....D-linemen aren't supposed to have hands that actually catch balls, much less have enough speed to make it into the end zone.
    - TY Hilton was taken out of the game and Doyle largely couldn't make up the difference (he did have one TD catch early).
    - Agreed, we won't win if we have to depend on Cassel for much of the season. Brissett is at least keeping Indy in ball games.
    - A loss would have been brutal. Cleveland will be dangerous since those guys will be hungry to get any win they can.

    and...

    Jayon Brown? Yes.
Adoree is getting better but he needs to not get too cute running backwards on kick returns.
Lewan is Lewan....glad he plays for us.
Mariota took a big step forward last night

I’m with you except they didn’t make Brissett look like Brady.... not even close. He only finished with 212 and looked bad. The defense did its job for the most part.

We still need a lot of work playing run defense. They were gashing us left to right running the ball.

The damn refs almost screwed us over last night with that Byard personal foul. It was stupid of Byard to do what he did at that point in the game, but there clearly wasn't any damage done to warrant a personal foul call. Seems like the refs wanted to extend the game on that.

I'm still trying to understand why the Colts ran a QB rollout/sneak with Brissett on 4th and less than 1. He runs like he has ankle weights on. Thank God for Woodyard on that play.

After that Mariota pick 6 to make it 19-9 Colts, I had that numb feeling like it was over.

So glad we pulled this out.

Win against the Browns and then onto the bye and we are sitting pretty.

I thought Brissett looked good until the pressure starting getting to him. His throws on the run were not good. That first half while DLB played the CB 10 yards off and didn't seem to blitz, Brissett did well. We benefited from the Moncrief TD drop but also the butter all over Doyle's hands.

Byard call was garbage. Others around me did not agree, but he did not do anything to warrant a PF. he shouldn't have touched him but dude flopped hard.
