Well Decker has sucked outside of last game, the #5 overall pick hasn't really played yet, Taylor hasn't seen the field much (but made it count when he has), and Smith has more TD's than Walker.

I think the main reason it seems this way is Decker sucking, Davis injury and sketchy play calling. Have a real HC/OC on this team and I think the offense would look much better. When playing to players strengths.

It was loving Mularkey before that. Then he made some bad decisions to cost us the Phins game with not challenging the Dolphins td return on the fumble or the 1st down on 3rd down at the end. But he turned it back around and won me back over. :p

We simply don't use our wrs correctly. As much as we run and have success, we should use way more play action. We should also give more 1 back looks and spread out the field more. Giving a defense more looks would open our wrs up more.

Davis and Taylor were drafted because it's an obvious area of focus to get Mariota more weapons.

Matthews has been solid but agree that he's a #2. Eventually, you hope Davis becomes that elite #1 WR and Taylor the #2.

But that's a season or two off.

Which is why there are 32 1000-yard receivers in the league. What was I thinking?

That Dolphins fumble return for a TD was challenged.

that's not what he was referring to, he's talking about when we were short of the 1st but it looked like we definitely had it in the 4th quarter with about 2 mins left

No, it wasn't challenged. It was reviewed by the booth to see if it was a fumble or not, and they ruled that it was a fumble.

However, after the recovery, 2 Dolphins players and 2 Dolphins coaches came on the field while the Dolphin that recovered was standing at the 41. Had Mularkey thrown his challenge flag, the play would've been dead at the 41 and penalties would've been enforced from that spot for having 15 men on the field. I'm not sure if it's the usual 5 yard penalty for too many men, or if it's a 10 or 15 yarder if you come off the sidleine mid-play? Either way, they would've had no TD and the ball at mid-field, somewhere between the 2 45's.
