    This is a run-first offense.

Matthews gets about 7 targets a game. He's not being force-fed the ball like a #1. He's putting up good numbers being 1) the only decent receiver playing and 2) getting a limited amount of looks.

Way too much disrespect for Matthews in this thread.

One thing is for sure, Marcus plays with a better overall cast. You keep bringing up two players out of 11. Weird how that happens.

I would assume the Tampa Bay coaching and offensive scheme makes up for the other nine players we have that are "better".

Welcome to the Titans forum, where every week we hate our own players & coaching staff here, but if we get a chance to drag down Mariota, then we have a top 5 roster and he's just not cutting it.

    Lol.

Based on what? We had two Pro Bowl tackles, a Pro Bowl RB, and a Pro Bowl TE last year.

Tampa had Mike Evans go to the Pro Bowl.

I guess that's what happens when you assume..

are we living in the past, or are you just trying to suck up for the FSU QB

DeMarco Murray has played awful this year dealing with that hamstring injury & Jack Conklin hasn't picked up where he left off. Delanie & Brate have played about the same.

Delanie Walker - 261 Rec Yds 0 TDs
    Cameron Brate - 281 4 TDs.

are we assuming, or are we just looking at the present? Because currently Tampa is 4th in total offense per game, & Jameis ISN'T outplaying Mariota this season.

[1259 ps yds vs 1098 ps yds]
    [ 7 total tds 3ints vs 7 total tds 4 ints]

Agree, Rishard is a stud and if he was given more targets than he might be putting up numbers like a true #1 WR. The guy is reliable, has hands and strong enough to fight off DBs. He deserves a lot of respect. This Robiskie offense is not a QB - WR friendly offense.

@Up_KD and @ICBW talk about Jameis Winston way more than I do. Envy at its finest.

Watching chiefs right now and have to agree. After watching mariota on Monday he can throw various yards on any play when he's in the pocket so why not play action more. Our team is strongest on the run no doubt but if even we can gain 3-4 on the pass on 1st 2nd it makes us slightly more unpredictable.

We're 3-3 ( which we shouldn't be) but we're stuck on a schemes where half built teams can control off and def. When I say built I mean what units get taught coming out of college as our coaches may have written it for them.

There is no doubt Mathews is our best reciever, Decker and Taylor can be used better but again we are run 1st team in a passing nfl.

would love to talk about other FSU players but can't talk about EJ Manuel, Christian Ponder, PJ Williams, or Dalvin Cook since he's on the IR.

Me: Rishard Matthews is a good receiver.

You: JAMEIS WINSTON HAS BETTER RECEIVERS!

You need to do something about your Winston envy.
