Mularkey will be here next year wildcard or not.
Josh McDaniels sucked as a head coach.

The scheme may be far from perfect but I don't think we are as talented as everyone has said/hoped. The o-line has regressed, Murray seems to have lost a step, Henry goes down easy for a big man, Davis hasn't developed (late start due to injury is a factor), Marcus is struggling, pass rush is minimal, DBs have moments of awesomeness....then get burned other times. Dropped passes including the normally rock solid Walker do not help either.
All of that is players or player execution more than coaching.

I still think Marcus has the ability to be an excellent NFL QB someday, but it is on him right now....not a scheme. 4 INTs on bad decisions or poor mechanics are on him.

I think most sensible people thought going into last season or even after last season that the Titans were still a couple of years away. Either way, this is year 1 or even 2. I'm not ready to set my hair on fire, as disappointed as I may be right now.

I don't know if the fanbase is F'ed.....but it seems pretty F'ed UP sometimes. Lol

Watching replay of his picks, 1st was just pure awful high throw but the 2 that concern me are the ones intended for Davis. Its like he's told to force the ball and look for Davis, he's looking at Davis the entire time and not looking off defenders. This tells me trust is not there and confidence for him to be in the right spot is not there yet. Typically MM8 scan the field and make quick decision. But he's locking on to Davis to try and get him the ball.

    *all the ints concern me

Josh McDaniels has never accomplished anything in the NFL without Tom Brady as his QB and Bill Belichick holding his d1ck for him. When given that opportunity Josh failed badly, just like the rest of the Belichick coaching tree.

He might have gotten better but this idea some people have that he is obviously the next great NFL head coach is ridiculous.

A dropped TD pass, a blocked FG...those two mishaps change the entire game if erased.
The INTs were bad...all INTs are. However, it's not like MM8 is Jay Cutler, Pick Machine. He had a bad game and will learn from it just like Manning did after throwing five and six picks per game.
Y'all go have a beer and chill a bit.

If it's just player execution and not coaching and scheme how do we explain the Rams quick turn around? They were garbage under Fishface and Goeff looked like a sure fire bust and now Goeff looks like a stud and the Rams are lighting it up. Same team, same players, what changed? Coaching staff.

I do agree that we still need more pieces and expected the defense to be addressed the next off-season. We knew that our defense was not going to be that good but we all expected the offense to be explosive and it's far from that.
