Yeah but in todays league you need a top 5-10QB to take you to the SB. Not sure why your arguing that when the last SBs takeaway manning has been Brady, Ryan, Wilson, Cam.

You can only make it to the SB if you have an historic defense. Broncos were ranked top 5 in all of important defense catg.

Titans already have wasted 2 yrs building the team on offense, mind as well continue instead of trying to turn a horrid defense into historic makes no sense.

Worst logic ever. "well we wasted 2 years trying to build the offense and not the defense, but we're dug too far deep on that, so just have to continue building the offense."

Second, I'm at work right now and the internet is super slow. Give me about an hour, I'll be back with the stats to refute your "need to have a top 5-10 QB" argument. Already pointed out Manning and Flacco (who beat Kaepernick) but the other Manning has a couple SB's and dating back even further that Tom Brady guy wasn't particularly great (aka top 5-10) when he won his first couple SB. He has definitely developed into a top QB every year, but that wasn't always the case.

This coaching staff has got to go. Marcus can lead us... maybe some of y'all are forgetting, he threw 26 tds to 9 ints last year with just insurance salesmen at WR....

This loss and performance is sole on coaching.

Three things must happen this off-season:
    1. Fire Robiskie (this needs to happen like... today)
    2. Lebeau retire (even if it's a forceful retirement)
    3. Draft/sign a pass rush
The players are there on the offensive side, we just can't use them even remotely right.

I don't necessarily believe that Lebeau's scheme has killed us this year, he's helped us get better, but we just have no real pass rush threat at all and it's time to move on from him.

Rak and Morgan have declined massively, Casey isn't really a pass rush stud, and no recent draft pick has contributed anything. We need talent to get to the passer or we're going to continue to get crushed against the pass.

I don't know that I'd fire Mularkey unless he's the one driving the schemes on offense. If it's his schemes, and he's got his hands in there and isn't open to bringing in someone with good, fresh ideas, then get him out too.

Yes, those teams did win the SB, and they were pretty much one and done. And that’s my point. In my opinion, sustained success is more important than winning it all one year.

Twice. I mentioned it twice in the same context about the same situation, so technically it's only once.

Mariota isn't Manning....and neither are 31 other starting QBs playing right now. I would hardly call that cause for concern.

I'd take one and done at this point.

I believe Mularkey will get extended no matter what the outcome of this season. Even if we lose the rest of the way he gets a new contract. AAS is not concerned with winning. She proved that hiring a washed up HC & watching him pull his staff from retirement. There is NO young blood on this staff at all!! There is NO innovation on this staff AT ALL.

Mularkey continually blames the players for "Failing to execute" his system. His "system works when they do it right." Does that not sound familiar to anyone??? This is just a nicer version of Whiz! He says it in a different way; but the fact remains: His system does not fit the players we have on the team. The system makes it near impossible for WRs to get separation. We only pass the ball in obvious passing situations. When the defense KNOWS exactly what to expect; they are going to defend it well. We need a new HC before this team is going anywhere...... We will squeak out wins against bad teams. Just enough to be mediocre. When we actually face teams with a decent defense & decent offense; we get mauled!!

We do not have an offense that uses the QB as the leader of the team. We are built around our RBs. The entire offensive system here starts w/ the RBs. If they fail to produce this team is not good. Even in wins; when the run does not work we barely win. Against bad teams we barely get out with wins. It is the way the scheme is built. When we get behind on the down & distance (As we always do these days) THEN it is all placed on the QB to catch up w/ 1 down & the defense KNOWING EXACTLY what you are doing. We do not have the creative plays to beat a defense that KNOWS what you are doing.

The bottom line is that until we have a new HC we are not beating decent teams. We will continue to get blown out by them.
