What's y'alls take on this this? I know a few people here have tried to say Marcus is too quiet/shy to be an NFL QB.

I also didn't watch the game and deleted the DVR recording cause I didn't wanna put myself through that garbage, so I have no idea if he's telling the truth about the blatant miscommunication.

I know I've been critical of Mariota before on here, but even I think this is stupid.

I think it’s a garbage take. He does communicate. He communicates every time he calls a play in the huddle. What more is he supposed to do. It’s not like he speak while a play is in the middle of being executed. Where a receiver is supposed to be and the timing to be at that position should all be practiced and ironed out during practice.

Cowherd I think at times speaks to hear himself rattle. He is reaching with this take. Like he does on many. So annoying.

Imo were 2 slow to release the ball on passing plays. Always seems were passing to out routes and fades for 10+ after 6-7 seconds marcus holding the ball. No wonder he got sacked doo often.

Big Ben had same yardage for 10+ more attempts with no ints and ball was gone before our pass rush knew about it.

Maybe it' inexperiance at qb or play calling but what I seen for the steelers was that they identified the run game was not as effective so didn't push it and passed the ball in all directions.

He's holding onto the ball presumably because nobody is open. Because his offensive scheme sucks.

True sometimes but his scrambling against pit outside the TD run was not good. On 2 sacks (particular the 15 yd loss) he actually turned to run backwards. In a few more of his rollouts, he was running into the edge rushers vice just stepping up in the pocket.
Some of it seemed very uncharacteristic from what I've seen in some previous games.

At three years inexperience is no longer an excuse.

He hasnt been doing that at all this year so idk why he would start doing that. I even mentioned how his pocket movement was his biggest improvement this year. Maybe something got in his head after he got hurt that he needs to shake off.
