And the lunacy of the “Mularkey defense” is that his stupid azz scheme is designed to keep Mariota from being injured. This thing is about to implode. None of it makes sense.

And Mariota is safe. You can’t easily replace a franchise QB without being at the top of the draft.

lol @ the people who think this is some grand conspiracy to protect mariota.

they didnt say the ankle was an old injury and are just bringing it up now. he rolled his ankle on the play where he slid awkwardly last week. we all saw it. I think it's safe to say that is where the injury occurred which is why we are just now hearing about it AFTER it happened.

as for the hamstring... we all assumed that was an issue since it happened anyways.

 

Let the Mariflota excuses start flying.

Simple case of fragile player with an even more fragile ego if they have to continued to deflect blame and make up injuries to protect the Golden Boy who has had an absolutely horrendous season.

Oh, and what exactly did Mariflota miss in the off-season? He was way ahead of schedule and participated in every snap of OTAs and camp.
