I agree. We should fix the lack of playmakers, speed, and athleticism on defense in the first round.

I would have given you a trophy, but we have this new trash a$$ system. So enjoy my "politically correct" high five.

I am still undergoing shock therapy for the Chance Warmack pick at 10 overall.

I don't want a rookie center on our Oline trying to call out blitzes. That's hustling backwards.
Personally, I am going to have my eye on Roquon Smith, OLB/ILB, from Georgia and see if he is the right fit for us.

It's hard to see right now but we are in a good position to draft some mid round G and C and see if they pan out. Ben Jones has been serviceable more often than not. No reason to panic and draft a replacement 1st round center. Guard you can find gems later in draft. We need play makers.

Now lets get back to making the playoffs! Well have a long ass offseason to debate draft and FA.

Right now? No. Not going against Blaine Gabbert, Tom Savage, Jacoby Brissett(2), Andy Dalton, Joe Flacco, Blake Bortles(2), Jay Cutler, or Deshone Kizer. Three backups, one retiree, one rookie, and three guys who are walking the high wire of being given up on.

Next season we get to potentially go up against: Tom Brady, Carson Wentz, Kirk Cousins, DeShaun Watson(2), Andrew Luck(2), Dak Prescott, Ben Roethlisberger(depending on divisional standings), and Philip Rivers(depending on divisional standings).

If the defense doesn't make a big jump in talent next year there will be a big drop in production.

This. An upgrade at C would be nice, but Jones was good last year and serviceable this year. May have an injury. This team needs more talent on DEFENSE, an area that has been neglected early in the draft for some time (yeah yeah Dodd whatever lol). There were some good guys who fell to the later half of rd1 last year. Foster is the one who sticks out in my mind. Would have loved him and Jackson, or one of the safeties. I think Davis will get going, but it's been lackluster. Think that's more on the scheme though imo.

Actually come to think of it, I don't even know how Foster has played this year. Looking forward to seeing him this Sunday.
