This is why so many see Robiskie is the issue. Yes, the schemed did well last year and everyone looked pretty good. We have basically the same squad just 2 or 3 new targets but O line is the same. The playbook is the same. However, we aren't running a lot of plays we did last year. We're constantly in 3rd and long situations after 1st and 2nd down failed running plays. We get in the redzone and hand the ball off twice then get into a predictable passing situation and expect to convert in a short field. Playcalling is just so erratic and bad.

IDC if he was fired, he helped the Jaguars score nearly 400 points that year, we'll be lucky to score 300 this year..

Greg Olson would coach circles around Terry Robiskie..

    What about Bill Musgrave?

Dude helped Mike Vick, Matt Ryan and Derek Carr become greats...

He might become available after this year..

To answer the original post's question...

It would send a message that this below average offense is not acceptable. The offense isn't even close to pulling its weight.

Would it change much as far as getting a better person in that position this year? No. But it would sure light a much needed fire under some asses.

Fire Robiskie and Mularkey is on the hot seat.

Don't fire him and we either hope both are on the hot seat or the FO is happy with "almost" playoffs.

This scheme does suck, but last year the play calling was better and we looked better. Really only one thing has changed, tr is calling the plays. If he's fired pre playoffs it will send a message to mm, that he needs to change up the calls. Everyone in the world knows if tr is calling plays in the playoffs, we lose 100% of the time, so why not cut him loose. He's a wr coach and our wrs don't help the team at all, now he's an oc and the o is holding us back. This dude is an awful coach.

That doesn’t matter. It’s Mularkeys team. The buck stops with him.

If he couldn’t identify that robiskie was a problem on his own and correct it, then he’s a bad coach.

    Can them both. Buh bye.

Fire him and let Mariota call all the plays.

Let's just see what happens. Purely as an experimental deal.
