Matthews: “Mariota needs to call the plays”

With Sean McVay, we'd probably be 11-3 or 12-2 right now.

This offense needs innovation.

Just turn Mariota completely loose and quit being a *****.

 

I truly believe this team has enough talent to make a run, with the right coaching staff. Another offseason and draft, and there's no reason they shouldn't be a 12+ W team. JR can't be blind, he's seen competent coaching for many years, and he has to know this isn't it. Really hope AAS stays out of his way.

Also, saw this tweet this morning. I'm glad players are pointing this out. It's calling out the coaching staff, or at least Robskie, but in a way that doesn't make them look like bad teammates, in fact the exact opposite.

 

Marcus doesn’t hate anyone but I have no doubts he never really bought into what this staff was trying to have him run on offense. Not with the kind of stuff he ran for in years past. He doesn’t identify with Mularkey and style he wants to play. And he struggles with it.

 

Guys the fact remains..... AAS controls Mularkey..... Not JRob.... THAT is the real issue here. We have an owner in control that is allowing emotions to control her actions. Not what actual football logic says we should do........

Until AAS turns over control of the team to JRob we could be in for a long ride with a BAD HC......

Remember she hired the GM based on him accepting Mularkey as HC. Some good candidates were turned away because they would not be attached to Mularkey. Ballard wanted to accept the position, but would not agree to Mularkey as HC..... I cannot believe AAS is going to admit she is wrong this fast....AS BAD as I HATE that, I fear it is what we will be dealing with for at least another season.....

I PRAY I am wrong..... I FEAR I am not.

Maybe we can hope no one shows up for the remainder of the games & that influences her decision. One thing that usually will change any owners' mind is MONEY..... Fingers crossed.

That's just another fan site....... We need the media to start putting some pressure on this HORRIFIC coaching staff!!

Fan sites complaining about coaching is not going to get the attention it needs. We need some real journalists to step up. If this were NYC this staff would've been on the hot seat months ago. National media does not care about the Titans. As much as I like to see more people FINALLY stepping up & not making excuses for Mularkey..... It won't matter until it gets more attention.

 

I know what you mean. Earlier in the season I made a thread complaining about TitansOnline.com and why its always just fluff and no one says anything about the atrocious play calling or voice concerns about Robiskie. This is not a fan site but the chatter is growing in the outside media:
