fisher fires back

I was right about Billy. He did throw a hissie and it did not sit well with the coaching staff. I knew it. That said, Collins sucks. @ Hoffa.

I think there is a little embellishing going on there Mr. Fisher. I do not recall Billy publicly calling out any players on the team or staff. BV's comment about not knowing why was probably just a warm up for the violin orchestra but I think both sides need to meet in a team neutral location and give each other a big hug.

 

That's bull****!!! Does Fisher think we're idiots? If the case was as he states in that interview Collins would NOT have been brought in 2 weeks before the season started.

 

Then I expect an easy win on Sunday and if not I dare Fisher to explain what "other" distractions the team has currently.

 

Teams without distractions lose every week.

And I haven't heard Fisher that ticked off in a long time, if ever.

 

And let me just add, when you've been a decent backup for a franchise quarterback for 5-6 years, what is wrong with wanting to start for the team or be traded to place where he might start, when the franchise quarterback leaves?
In the real world that's called ambition, but I guess maybe that's the problem with this team, Fisher doesn't want players with ambitions....

 

yeah, i noticed that too. even after some of our worst games like jacksonville and san diego, i dont think he has ever been that pissed in an interview.

 

Maybe he is pissed because everyone now knowns the emperor has no clothes.

Volek a locker room cancer? Unlikely.
Collins a savior? Less likely.

It was reported in the press that the team was not looking to sign Collins despite rumors to that effect.
Then the team signs KFC. Of course Volek should then ask to be traded or released.

Nothing in Fisher's reply makes me believe or trust the "coaching staff" at this point.

But it is over, and I hope we get a few games in which Volek starts to compare his performance with KFC this season.

 

Billy'll end up 3rd string for SD before it's all over. Whitehurst best watch is back.
