    I won't boo him, but I d@mn sure won't cheer for him.
He's a dirty bird now. There is no team loyalty anymore just like there is no player loyalty. He played well for us, and I cheared for him then, but turns out he was never part of the team, really. That's according to some players, post pardom, remember?

It's game time, go Vince, and screw Steve.:grrhee: :grrr: :moon2:

    You're right.
It WAS more money AND a longer deal.

You left out the part about the FO deciding to simply not pay him for the deferred money they owed him that accumulated after restructuring year after year after year.

No doubt. The Ravens are 6-2 and we are 2-6.

I plan on cheering for Steve, but I'll be honest. Unless we win the game, I'm going to leave the stadium feeling the WORST I've ever felt as a Titan fan.

I know the FO did what had to be done but fleas are the last thing to jump off a dead dog. Floyd left me as a "fan holding the bag."

Avvie, I really hope you don't feel like Steve really didn't get paid. Starkiller, any way you can show what Steve made all those years, especially the bonuses that he got when he renegotiated his deal. He got that money, all of it, up front. It's in the bank, and he's spending it. The cap hit of the money didn't count yet, and is still on us this year and next. Steve wasn't hurt by this deal. I don't think the FO handled it badly, but don't give me the "poor steve" act.

I agree with GoTitans. The FO wasn't going to pay him 50 million. He made his money upfront when he restructured his contracts. Everyone knew (well most) that the Titans wouldn't resign him unless it was for a 1 yr deal. He wanted more so he left.
