The Jags are good for a bad game, that's been their deal all year. Win a few, lose a few, win one, lose one. They haven't won more than 2 games in a row the whole entire year. Talk about inconsistency. I wouldn't be so confident pal. Anger can be a good motivator, I'm sure they remember how the Jags embarrassed the Titans last time. Payback's a _____.

Anger can also cause mistakes, which is what we anticipate.

The Jags lack of consistency is something that has been a knock, but only because they were struggling to find an identity on offense. They've found that, which doesn't bode well for the worst defense in the NFL.

In case you didn't realize, the Colts this year have one of the worst run defenses in the history of the NFL. Heard it on the radio this morning. Their pass offense is pretty much NON-EXISTENT and a non-factor. Plus the Jags are not at home, but rather on the road where they struggle. You best be hoping they get the running game going or it's over.

Anything, of course, can happen, but what should happen is a very good game. If Haynesworth and Smith are going to be an effective run stopping duo they need to prove it Sunday. I think they have the potential to play very well together against the run, but it hasn't come fully together yet. Taylor and Jones-Drew are both excellent backs. If we can contain their running game, we can contain most anyone's. If they are able to run at will on us, it's going to be a long day.

Vince Young has done some amazing things. Anxious to see what kind of scheme the Jags come up with. We've seen a lot of different things the last few weeks. Teams have tried to keep him in the pocket, teams have dropped back and tried to force him to throw, teams have put a spy on him, none of that has been effective. He's too fast for most linebackers and too big for most DBs.

The Jags D is scary good. I'm ready to see if Young can work against them at this stage of his career. If he can show those same flashes against the Jaguars D then I'm ready to vote him ROY.

Completely agree. On tap this week are the Jags playoff chances. It's better this way though. You do not have to get blown out in the first playoff game like last season.

Well, unless there's a monsoon like there was in Jax a month ago, things should be very different...

The fact that this team has some swagger, plus the fact that the Jaguars are about as tame as they come away, tells me victory is a real possibility this weekend.

    Great analysis.

However, I do not share your degree of optimism.

So far Haynesworth and Smith have given us no reason to think that we are good run stoppers and facing the (arguably) best running offense in the league we are bound to have tremendous problems this Sunday.

In addition we might be without our greatest running threat (Henry).

I think our only hope is that the Jags have one of their (many) off-days and VY keeps on being invinceable
