Overrated and Underrated

Those who don't believe that the Titans will make a fair offer to Bennett are sadly mistaken. The coaches and management underststand what Bennett brings to the team and where he fits in.

 

I'm probably getting here a little late but here's my opinion.

Overrated: Keith Bulluck, he may rack up a lot of tackles but anyone who really pays attention to him can tell that he constantly overruns plays, is afraid to hit the hole and take the blocker head on, and most of his tackles come downfield. Don't get me wrong though, I still think he's a great player and a great leader.

Underrated: Kevin Mawae, he's the key to our running game this year. He's the missing puzzle piece we've been looking for in our o-line. He really glues our offense together.

 

He might if we can get him at an adequate price. Just because makes an offer doesn't mean he is a top level receiver.

I WILL wager that Floyd lets Bennett test the market before making an offer (if he does).

 

If Bennett tests the market then he will most likey be signed within the first few days. He's going to be one of the top, if not the best, FA WR on the market.

The whole FA is going to be weak compared to last years FA.

 

Depends on whether you mean a fair offer in the Titans' perspective or a fair offer in Drew's perspective. I think those numbers will be drastically different...

I'd say you are definitely underselling him. He's a quality #2 in this league. The problem is that with Mason gone, there isn't a true #1 to take defenses' attention away from Drew.

Sure, some teams have great #2 WRs, but I don't think the fact that he couldn't beat out guys like Reggie Wayne or TJ Houshmandzadeh makes Drew any worse...

 

Brandon Jones may soon become this teams #1 reciever. IF he does, then I'de expect Bennetts numbers to go way up.

 

I expect Jones to be the #1 WR and Bennett to be an ex-Titan...
