Overrated and Underrated

SK, when we make our choice- do we re-sign Bobby Wade or give Bennett some cash.

IMO, we'd be foolish to go with Drew. If we get them both, then DB becomes #3 or #4. He justs drops too many balls to be a #2.

Givens, Wade, Jones, ?Bennett, ?Roby, ?Williams.

Honestly, I don't see DB here next year.

I agree that Wade would probably a better worth for the money he'd be demanding.

No argument about his drops, but he's still a good WR.

 

Brave of you to post that, but it is the truth. If we are going to have an elite defense, that is one place we are going to have to improve. This will be one of those "do we keep a veteran around that has meant a lot or do the right thing" deals.

 

The good thing about Drew is that he does draw good coverage. Not saying double teams or anything, but for instance on Wade's TD against Buffalo he was wide open right in front of the endzone because 2 Buffalo players had followed Bennet on the deep pattern.

In other words, you can't base a WR's worth strictly on his # of catches and yards gained.

Oh and to suggest Bulluck needs to be upgraded is just lunacy.

 

Don't confuse people with facts and intangibles. They prefer to live in their little world of "Drew drops passes". It's easier for them to comprehend.
