In arguing with SK in another thread about Reese and the 'quality' of some of his picks, it dawned on me I had a similar debate over the pre-season with TJ and a few others.

While not listing this as a poll per se, I'd like to see who comes out where at the end...

Basically I'll list our starting players. In your response, you'll list who you think is top 5 (at their position), above avg, below avg, bottom 5. Yes, I left out avg for a reason...anyone not listed is avg by default (saves space).

The purpose of this is to determine how much talent (or lack thereof) the fans think is on this team. Note, you may think a player has top 5 talent but hasn't shone it yet so I leave it up to you whether you want to list that player as top 5 or simply above avg.

Based on the results, we'll have an idea as to whether or not the fans think we have a lack of talent (which points blame at Reese for not getting us the players) or a lack of coaching (if we have a good amount of talent, then how come our D is ranked so poorly pointing the finger at JS).

Here are our starters (or would be without injuries)...

    QB - VY
    RB - Henry
    FB - Hall
    WR - Bennett
    WR - Givens
    TE - Scaife/Troupe
    LT - Roos
    LG - Bell
    OC - Mawae
    RG - Olson
    RT - Stewart

    RDE - LaBoy/Odom
    DT - Haynesworth
    DT - Smith/Starks
    LDE - KVB
    ROLB - Bulluck
    MLB - Tulloch
    LOLB - Thornton
    CB - Pacman
    CB - Hill
    NB - Finnegan
    FS - LT
    SS - Hope

    So what's your list....?

  2. Brandon Jones is ready for primetime next season.

Upgrade the FS or CB position and the defense will be tough to tangle with.
If the Titans can play man-to-man coverage with another CB aside from Pacman, it will allow the titans to line up 7-8 at the line to stuff the run and show different blitz schemes.

So you're comfortable with LT at FS if we upgrade Hill?

    in the league?
It is a bit extreme to go above average to top 5 with nothing in between.

There is certainly a middle in that.

I'd say that it is impossible to say anything on Givens due to his limited time this year..

And I must disagree that Bennett is a bottom 5 starting WR.

You could make a fair argument that he is a below average WR or that he is a bottom 5 #1 WR - but you wouldn't have to dig deep to find 5 starting WR worse than Bennett.

And for the record I still stand by my previous judgement in claiming that Bennett is an average starting WR
