In your own opinion what is the best football game you have ever seen?

This could be NFL, College, CFL, NFLE, High School, Pee Wee whatever.

I will tell you mine later just want to see what the opinions of others are.

Oilers vs Buffalo.. ( I was a Bills fan at the time)

2006 Rose Bowl, that was a very exciting game, my older brother left with about 2 minutes to go, came back down as I started screaming :ha:

Close second is Super Bowl XXXIV, as weird as that may seem as a Titans fan (that season was when I became a Titans fan) but that game was incredible, if Dyson had gotten one more yard there, it would have beaten out the Rose Bowl.

MCM, W/O a doubt. I don't think you can truly appeciate a game that has several lead changes, and finishes with a last second field goal, last second 3pt'er, or last minute anything, unless you are a fan of one of the two teams playing. The Bills/Oilers game was great overall, but as a Oilers fan, I could never truly say that was one of the greatest games I've ever seen, b/c the Oilers lost, with the a team that quite frankly, should have gone to the Superbowl and given Warren Moon his first and only SB Ring. I went to college upstate NY, and everyone knew I was an Oilers fan, and they trashed my room with all kinds of Bills para, I've hated them (Bills) ever since. MCM was revenge, but still didn't make up for that game. Next game was Bills/Giants SB, then I liked the Giants too (I'm from Queens NY) so, that was cool too. And Finally Texas vs. USC, only b/c I knew we would most definately take VY after seing that performance. Had he stunk up the place we'd be playing with ML as our QB right now.

    Chiefs @ Oilers wk15 1990

This game was the highlight of Warren Moon's best season. It was a great game to watch & finished up 27-10 to the Oilers.

Moon kept piling up the yards & once he hit 400 the commentators started saying Moon was going to break Van Bronklin's 554 yd passing record. In the middle of the 4th qtr Moon needed to throw for 28yds to take the record.

The games was well out of reach for the Chiefs & Moon chose to sit it out as his team ran out the clock. It was more important to him not to disrespect the Chiefs than going for the record in a meaningless way.

It was an act of pure class, something Belichick & Testaverde know nothing about.

    re

There have been a lot of great ones over the years, but here are a few recent ones that come to mind:

2006 Rose Bowl (everyone else has said this one, but it has to be mentioned in any list)

2005 Grey Cup (the only CFL championship game to ever go into OT; it featured 2 TDs and a FG in OT).
