4 year 10.5 million. Undisclosed guaranteed.

Special teamer. Back up MLB, to compete with Tulloch for start.

Now we can gripe about over-spending. SOMEBODY tell where the value is in this signing.

I don't know how some of you can defend Reinfeldt at this point.

    Scouts.com says:

Fowler is tenacious and tough. He is a physical upfield defender. He isn't afraid to step up and fill against the run. He uses his hands fairly well and will deliver a blow. He is a good finisher. He is steady against the run and has an excellent motor. But Fowler is a straight-line player who isn't particularly agile or fluid. He doesn't change directions or move laterally very well. He lacks great speed and range. He has trouble in turn-and-run coverage situations, getting to the perimeter and playing in space. He isn't much of a playmaker.

sounds like a younger version of sirmon. i dont see how tulloch cant win this battle.

Yeah, like I said I dont know much about this guy, but I based on his stats, I cant see how he warranted a 10 mill contract.

    What is Sirmon's contract?

And it's not a done deal yet...the Cowboys can still make the same offer and keep him.

    nothing, he's a FA.

  7. The guy is a very productive special teams player and a quality back-up linebacker. He adds depth to the MLB position and should be interesting to see who ends up at that MLB at the beginning of the year.We all knew Sirmon wasn't coming back, we pretty much helped Sirmon pack his stuff with this signing

I'm not sure if I'm happy we signed someone, or if I'm upset we are settling for Backups/ST monsters.

He could give competition to Tullock, but we still have a lot of holes to fill and the "Pool is Shallow, No Diving" If we try to jump into Free Agency now we'll only break our necks.

Not a huge signing. He had 21 tackles last season which are not big numbers. I think they signed this guy as for security in case Tullock cant handle the starting spot. I guess this means Sirmon wont be a Titan next season.

To me this is a big signing. It may not be the best but it adds a vetran behind Tulloch.
