The problem here for the Titans is more involved than just this case, or will he be charged with misdemeanor or felony, or convicted or whatever. And it's more involved than if the NFL is going to suspend him for 4 games, or 6 games, or a year.
The big issue here is that how can the Titans reasonably expect him to stay out of trouble? This is his 10th incident in two years where there needed to be police involvement. Even if he's not guilty, he has proven BEYOND a shadow of a doubt that he's constantly in trouble. And the next time, and there will be a next time, the suspension will be longer.
I predict the Titans will cut him. It sucks. I hate to lose the talent. But, what else can they really do? They have no reasonable expectation that things will get better after he serves whatever suspension he serves. The only reasonable expectation is that it will get worse (more incidents, longer suspensions).
Even if he's charged in this case, I'm sure he'll plead down and avoid jail time. But it's not going to matter. The team can't plan a future if you're #1 CB cannot be counted on for major parts of, or entire seasons due to continuing behavior issues.

Honestly, I kinda hope he does get convicted, let him learn that he's not above the law, it could help him straiten out, although at this point thinking anything will straiten him out may just be wishful thinking.

Also, I'll say it again, we will not cut Pacman to let him sign with another team, if he's playing for anyone it'll be us and the haters can deal with it.

Let me point out the worse and best case scenarios...

1.) Pac will get charged(for who knows what...) and serve maybe jail time and be suspended. Which may lead to his release...

2.)Pac, himself could come out of this clean and not have a thing to worry about except helping this team win a SuperBowl.

3.)We jump the gun and release him only to find out that he wasn't guilty of anything. Then he'll go to some other team and never have another incident for the rest of his live. Then becomes one of the NFL's top corners and makes us look like fools.

4.)Pac goes to court, judge releases him of all accounts and the NFL gives him no suspension. Returns to the team for the remander of the year and follows that with a great career.(I'm sure this will make him a better person, or atleast way more cautious.

5.)Pac gets convicted serves jail time, comes out and starts a new rap group with Lil' Jon and calls it "81,000 Dollars of Crunkness."

6.)Pac, we'll he just does what he does and is never heard from again.

7.)Vince Young, awaits for Pac's arrival and says your not the star, I am, then takes him out to the woodshed where Pac finds out that his mother is there and she shaves his dreads and Vince says "see shaved heads aren't so bad..."

8.) Pac, he meets up with OJ's lawyer edit: raised from the dead and gets away free, only to see him on the next season of "dancing with the stars.":ha:

I got a little carried away...

This is where the post took a turn for the worst.

    ........and even worse........

Now, I've gotta stop you. This would require Pacman to make someone rise from the dead. Now that's a stretch.

Lol, has anyone ever seen the Carlos Mencia skit where he reviews the cases with "the Ghost of Johnny Cochran"

With his first platinum hit, "Makin' it rain!"

Ok, that's in bad taste, but I couldn't resist.

    Most likely scenario:
    Goodell lays the smack down.

9.) PacMan gets no suspension and gets off free , he helps us to the playoffs but we lose to Sandeigo. A day later we find out that PacMan was involved in a fight at a bar and this all starts over again

Personally I'm really sad about the whole thing... Had he taken the VY road or the bulluck road or the others in the league who all had hard upbringings but learned from it and became better people for it Pac could have been a Hall of Famer... I have to believe that he's seeing all the bad choices now and wishing he could take it back... Hard to see someone with so much talent & promise throw it away over Nothing... *&$#ing sucks!!!
I'm a Pac Fan but how many times can the supporters (like me) continue to give the benefit of the doubt & get burned by another charge or incident...
    F#%*!!!!!!!!!!

The drug charges and the spitting and whatever,

it doesn't make someone a good person or a model citizen, but it's easy to defend them being allowed to play in the NFL.

When someone gets seriously hurt, it's hard to defend someone. Have to be patient still and see exactly what the true involvement was and what comes of the charges... but it's damn hard to defend Pac anymore.

Here is my summary of the situation:

    1. Pac hasn't been charged with anything yet. The LVPD advised the county DA that their collection of evidence supported the misdeanor charges and the felony coercion charge. The DA is the one who will decide whether or not to file charges/prosecute. This is a dream come true for an ambitious county DA to go after a notoriously disliked public figure.

    2. The evidence for the misdemeanors should be easily challenged in trial. (Eyewitnesses, conflicting testimony, credibility (drunk, etc)). The charge of obstructing an officer (coercion) should also be easy to discredit with eyewitness testimony.

    3. The NFL can't enforce an ex-post-facto policy. I listened to Goodell's statement. He is only offering an outline and a policy will be drafted by the end of the month. He was very vague about discipline but made it clear the team's will be primarily responsible for enforcement. He also mentioned each case would have to be reviewed with "case-specifics" playing the biggest part in determining punishment. This is where Pac probably gets screwed. It appears nobody other than Pac's attorney is going to go to bat for him, even though no convictions have occurred. Pac's attorney better be good (persuasive to judge and jury) in order for him to receive at least FAIR treatment. He is really up against a swale of anti-Pac sentiment. It has been mentioned more than once on ESPN, Sirius, and the NFL channel that Pac is the "poster boy" for misbehavior.

    4. The Titans are supposed to release their statement/position later this week. This is the real issue with Pac and whether he will play in two-tone blue. So far, it appears the organizaiton is distancing themselves from Pac and WON'T support him during the legal process. That is a bad prognosticator that he is done. If they state that he can practice until a conviction, he may stay. I don't have a clue as to which direction the organization will take.

    5. If Pac never plays again for us, I'm not convinced that would be all that bad. Sure- he was a force on ST's and a shut-down corner, but the best we did with him was 8-8 and we were 32nd in the league on defense. Maybe his removal from the team will be a galvanizing force. Maybe it will be the sort of hardship that melds men of character- that stimulates Vince to lead stronger, play harder and give example to others to sacrifice.

Anyway- although Pac may get burned, I still think his treatment has been unfair by the media and the court of public opinion. I don't even think he will ever be the same player he was last year because of the entire experience. What a shame. The whole Las Vegas incident makes me sick. The "thug" life, the tragedy, and the BS response of the victims, the club owner and the media. Personally, I hope three-two makes it through this a better man, I hope Urbanski gets the use of his legs back and gets a lot of compensation, and the whole story just goes away.
