As many of you know, pacman is meeting with commish. Goodell today, I was watching a segment on NFL Total Access and it interviewed Goodell, his thoughts were, he wanted to see what was making Pacman act this way, what he could do to help, ultimatly what makes pacman tick. His intentions looked in no way to suspend pacman.

Which brings me to this, 2 of the Reporters were talking about the New rule that will be in place soon, and that it can't effect pacman or chris henry etc......why? becuase then the NFL gets a whole bunch of Lawsuits from not allowing players to play the sport they love. even tho they made mistakes,
BUT the rule was not in place when they made those mistakes. Baisically the best goodell can do right now is warn pacman that if it happens again, the consequences will be high. The only way pacman could miss games next season or possibly the whole season is if he is convicted and the las vegas police department arrests him or someone in the police. other then that pacman is safe and will not be harmed by the league.

oh and they showed some interviews of coaches thoughts, and every coach said he should be disciplined, and he should miss the season, ALL the coaches they interviewed said negative things, and ALL the coaches they interviewed we play next season.

The NFL realistically cannot suspend Pacman under the new rule because the rule was not in place when all of Pacman's problems came about. They would be liable to many lawsuits.

However Pacman can be suspended under whichever league rule is applicable.

We can still suspend him for conduct detremental to the team, for all of his off season issues. He can also be suspended by us and the league for not reporting his run in with police in Georgia.

Pacman will not play 16 games this year, at most he will play 12 games this year anyone that thinks otherwise is dreaming, they just not going to give him a slap on the wrist with all the attention this been getting in the press. Hes put a whole dark cloud over the league with his actions. He will be suspended at least 4 games this year, question is will it be the team that does it or the league, only reason the team hasnt did anything up until this point is because the signing bonus and guaranteed base salaries owned to pacman, they want the league to do it so they can partition the league to get a break on the cap with his guarranteed base salaries or possibly get money back on pacman's signing bonus.

He can also be suspended for the next stupid thing he does between now and September. That's almost 180 days and his history shows he cannot avoid trouble for that length of time. Too many hoes and Cadillac doors.

They really can't suspend him for his "10 run-ins" with the law without a conviction and expect to win a legal challenge.

However, they can, and will IMO, suspend him for the team and league failure to report arrests violation (falls under conduct detrimental) from the Georgia incident. Even though this is his first offense, I think they will throw 6 games at him. I believe there is (or has) been a lot of discussion with Pac's attorney about taking the 6 games without challenging it.

I also think if he gets ANY (even misdemeanor) charges or pleas out of the Las Vegas incident they will extend it to a year.

It seems disproportionate to me for Pac to get 6 games, but come on- we all need to admit it is best for the league and for Pac.

As far as other douchebag coaches and owners saying give Pac a year- they have a serious conflict of interest making any statement. I'm sure they are glad their team "bad boy" is getting in the limelight the way Pac has been.
