Pacman Suspended entire season

From what I have read if he does not stick to plan set out by the Commissioner [one of those is to visit to the Titans facility once a week during the season] I suspect his suspension will be extended.

 

While I agree the NFL could be in a legal greyarea (certainly in my country you could file a suit for wrongful suspension and win it easily) you have to remember that the NFL is not unlike organised crime in some respects.
If Pacman tries to fight this I think almost every coach and GM in the league will blackball him and the NFL never forgets (well unless it's beneficial for them to do so). I mean even the NFLPA as well as many players have publicly signed off on the punishment, he's not going to win any friends if he challenges it.

 

If he doesn't do what they have laid out for him to do, they'll kick him out of the NFL...
My hope is the same as many on here...
Take the suspension, don't fight it, don't argue it.
Do everything that the league & The Titans laid out in the terms of this mess with a smile
turn it around, get back on the field week 11 and get on with your life and career as a Titan... As much as it sucks to have this happen to our team, It may be the tide turner that he needed.. I'm a fan of Pac and no matter what anyone else says, fans of this team will be screaming when he's taking Int's & punts back to the house... If Ray lewis could bounce back from a Murder rap Pac can turn this around too... Do the right thing pac and get back in the locker room....

My first post in over a year, although i read almost everyday lol....In my opinion, I think we still go receiver in the draft....Harper, Hill, Finnegan, and Woolfolk is a better group than Brandon Jones and the rest of our scrub WRs. So unless we sign a vet WR like Moulds or someone, I can't see how they go any other direction than WR at 19 and then maybe a DB in round 2 or 3.

am I the only one that's more concerned with losing Pac as a CB than I am about losing Pac as a returner? having a great returner is not essential to success in the NFL, having a good secondary on the other hand ...

 

All you people crying that our season is over are being STUPID. Pacman deserved every bit of what he got. If he is guitly of HALF of what he is involved with then he deserves to be in jail. I see some of you saying that people dont have PRIDE if they are happy Pac Man is gone? No the difference is some of us have standards. I am not going to let some 12 year old play on my 6 year olds baseball team so they win, I have STANDARDS. I am not going to tell you that you should have them, but get off of us who do. The same people who are crying that pac man should not have had anything happen to him are the same people who will not be titans fans in 2 years. So, if you dont want to get NFL sunday ticket, or go to games....then dont and maybe that will lower the cost I pay for them.

 

You are a BLIND titans fan. While winning is good, I'll be damned if we are going to be a "just win" team. This is about more than winning. This is about a man who if stays on the same track will be DEAD in a few years. Then what? How will you feel if he has NO chance to come back because the league didnt give him the kick in the arse to get on the right track as a HUMAN.
