I have a problem with The Gloat's comment that says:

a word on hitting players? did you see what Vince did to that sorry s.o.b that picked him off and took it down the sideline? He didn't have any problem jacking him up. :wink2: Vince ran him down, hit him hard and high... knocked him into the middle of next week. Better not pick Vince. He'll hit 'ya. I realize The Gloat meant a receiver on a route but forget that. Vick gets picked and he reaches for his chin strap. Vince just goes and knocks his block off. That kind of intangible leadership counts for way more than some stupid stats.

ps- GoTitans... those stats for Vick were not 2nd year stats. Someone previously pointed out and provided a link that they were in fact the 6th year stats. By reading your post I wasn't sure you caught that.

i dont think Michael Griffin fought dogs, and im glad he raises them as pets and not "gladiators". i was just refering to the espn article that he does have 2 pet pittbulls if im not mistaken...

But Vick is a heavy weight....

 

he just breeds them, as bigtitan showed us, he doesnt fight them and their kennel is against selling them to people who use them for that purpose

 

Young will be better than Vick it just comes with experience.

Not much to be proven. Vick is better at this point while Vince will probably be better 2 years from now.
Whoever disagrees with that, well, I don't know what you could say about them.

 

I disagree with that, and you could just say that I looked at the stats for the second half of last season, and over that stretch, the six year veteran, Vick, got outplayed by the still developing rookie. The stats are obvious. Whoever disagrees with that....


Vick's stats for the last 8 games:

passing: 91/182 50% 1,112yds 9 TDs / 6 INTs

rushing: 53 att 463 yards 0 TDs


Vince's stats for the last 8 games:

passing: 115/207 55.5% 1,437yds 7 TDs / 6 INTs

rushing: 54 att 415 yards 5 TDs

 

Actually, I was making the distinction that the article that this thread is about DOES use Vick's second year stats, which is a more accurate comparison. Only in our thread here are we using the 2006 stats. I was saying that in the thread we are making an unfair comparison, but in the article it's closer to fair.
