Hill also played with injuries for a lot of the season since he didn't want to miss playing time if i remember correctly. but i suppose injuries are no excuse.

 

by starting Thompson and Hill we won't be moving away from that distinction anytime soon

Thompson has bothered me for a number of years.. and if he starts this year in place of other options (Griffin mainly) I would be dumbfounded...

Hill had an amazing rookie season, but his sophomore slump last year was a bit bothersome (I have to agree with some of you that he has the innate ability to play the receiver without even looking for the ball, which tends to lead to his breakdowns in coverage)

IMO - the starting lineup for DB should be - CB - Finnegan CB - Harper
SS - Hope FS - Griffin

Griffin has really lifted my spirits with his play this offseason - hope he can keep it up

 

all im saying is, let Thompson starts until he screws up, if he doesnt, then he is obviously playing well, so our defense must be doing better with him on the squad.

 

didnt our o-line look terrible last game

are we just not in sync yet, or what?? to me our o-line looked like garbage, and our d-line was amazing, i dont see how this could happen, considering it was the exact opposite last year. i havent seen our o-line open up 1 hole for any of our running backs yet, at least not like travis henry was getting. and Vince young is getting destroyed out there. does anyone else see this, or is it just me, we are in trouble if we cant get them on track, but we are playoff caliber if we do, considering how beast our defense is playing.

 

so he'll start against jacksonville and get benched for the next 15 games?

 

if he plays poorly against jaxonville then yes. but right now he is playing great.

 

I wish they would reshow the game so I can watch it...

I watched it twice on Tivo , It didn't look any better the second time , lol.

 

Yeah our o-line scared me with that poor performance they put on..I know the Pats have a good D-Line but that was pathetic.
