trades never happen during the regular season, so stop worrying about it.

Let's forget about the head-stomping for a second and look at history. The Titans have never paid a big free agent contract to a DT because of the system.

For the Titans to want to pay him what he'll want, and likely get elsewhere, he'd need to play many more snaps than he does AND play at a consistently high level.

So far, Albert has done neither.

    What play was that?

TJ has a good point about us not keeping DT's. This is a new f.o., and Al is better than most we've let go, so that may change.

you're right, but I'm just so hesitant to give him a fat contract because he decided to finally give conditioning a try.....just when his contract is up.

i really question his love for the game and wonder whether he plays because he's big and ca make money doing it.

i would keep him especial if we sign cory simon, them two together we would be one the best dl in the game, simon would help AH alot ,the pass and run would improve alot and it will free our de up alot and give dbs alot more picks its a good D and we would have strong solid back-ups coming in and out stay fresh. it really does sound like the titans are going to sign simon.

I saw the game on NFL replay. I think it was the 2nd quarter, Losman took a 3-5 step drop, AH was working his way in, Losman rolled left, AH pulled up and had his hands on his own hips watching when Losman hit somebody in the flat or deep out. (can't remember for sure). He could have nailed him for sure he was only about 3 feet away from him.

  7. It sounds like we would be going back to the old way our defense was. Especially against the run!

I've watched the game twice now from my recording, and there's only one play similar to that. Ah did not have his hands on Losman, but did get close and made him scramble. He let up, but Losman had already scrambled away by then (Losman is very mobile). Not something I'd point out as a problem for AH. I just wonder if you're seeing what you want, or expect to see? Sometimes we pile on on these mb's.

Yeah, did you see LenDale run for 1000 yards against Buffalo. Looking trim and terrific too. :grrhee:
