They could have "deffered to the second half" Which allows us to get the ball at the start of the second half......

    Come on man haha

Comparing Grossman to VY is ridiculous. If he was throwing pick after pick, fumbling stumbling then ok... And Starkiller is being way too hard oh him. He's not a perfect pocket passer, no, but hes doing enough for us to win. If the WR's make the catches they should have we win pretty easily. It started with Moulds and ended with williams. Yes he needs to play better but the offense as a whole does as well.

    I have to disagree.

First- the game plan was designed based on what we have available injury and talent-wise versus our opponent. This was a run gameplan- no disputing that. We won the game which makes it difficult to dispute the gameplan. Second, the script is made and we stick to it. Later in the game, coaches will abandon the plan if it isn't working. Vince only had 14 attempts because the run was working. He is a 2nd year QB- I doubt he is given much reign to audible out of the play design. He completed 6 of those 14 passes- and third, had his WR's caught the balls they should have he would have been 9/14 with 2 or 3 TD's and 10/14 without that bogus offensive pass-interference call.

So in response, all you VY "bashers" need to clear up your thinking about what you saw yesterday and your perception of where VY is in his development.

I think I know the exact play you are talking about. We took the delay of game penalty to give Hentrich more room not to land it in the endzone.

It looked from my vantage point that Lendale had the first down by a yard or so. The only thing I could think was maybe a knee hit before his body extended. I haven't seen the replay so I don't know, but everyone in my section was wondering what was up with that spot.

I agree with you, but in order to beat them, we would need Vince to have a big game too.

agree with you stompface, we definitely need VY and the O to hold up their end of the bargin in order for Fisherball to work

You too need to understand and clear up your perception of VYs development stage, he has clearly taken a step back, and with his leg injury, not only is his inablity to play QB being exposed, but he has reverted to not taking care of the football and bad decision-making. From a WRs standpoint, the ball Vince puts on you takes so long to get there, he floats balls all over the field and that really disrupts the timing for a WR, and easy catch just became really dificult, and you have more time to think, which usually screws it up.

Troupe should have caught that ball, and Roydell got hit in his numbers on a laser by Vince....thats 14 points we should have had.

We won, Im happy. Good thing we saved some room for improvement!
