Williams to Visit Titans on Tuesday

    It's not like the Chow connection has paid dividends in making former USC players become physical specimens. ;)

    If they like him, I sign him to an off-season contract at some point, tell him he is to be a certain weight by the first OTA and give him an opportunity to earn a roster spot in training camp.

    But I'm sure he's looking for someone desperate enough to put him on an active roster. I hope it isn't the Titans.

    Right after Williams became available, Mortensen gave him what-for on The Wake-Up Zone one morning -- said he SHOULD be a tight end but refused to make the move, had no work ethic, was overweight . . . I was surprised he was so forthcoming publicly. Based mainly on that, unless Chow can turn him around, I'd be hesitant to sign him.

    I say go for it. Get him in here and give him a chance. Who knows. Maybe one more change is all he needs to go back to what he used to be.
