What part of that is incomprehensible?? That's a very true statement. That's just like saying in the past 20 years, there hasn't been a pro-bowl caliber White Corner in the league with the exception of maybe Jason Sehorn. But it's not a racial thing, just a factual one.:moon2:

It is amazing how good Vince Young looks whenever the receivers decide to catch the ball.

I'd rank our wr core as 31st in the nfl...

We lost our two best wr's this offseason and neither of them have done much with their new team..

We need to sign a free agent and draft at least 2 in the first 4 picks.. Maybe we will finally get lucky and draft a real keeper..

It may be a "factual thing" as you say, but have you thought that not that many black athletes have been given the opportunity to play QB until recent years (last 10). I personally think you are talking out your arse, but whatever...

Anal-cranial retention prevents an optimal view of some plays. Also, due to this condition oxygen is displaced in the blood and replaced by various gases including methane and hydrocarbons. This renders the aforementioned person incapable of coherent thought thus prohibiting even simple decision making, i.e. "let's look to see if the ball really did hit the ground. This is a widespread epidemic, symptoms include standing in the middle of a pasture waving your arms in a series of gestures, and wearing black and white striped clothes. Once contracted your only other option for employment is a Politician.:))

Not only our game K.C. got a horse collar called on them that wasn't called till crybaby went whimpering to the refs.

It doesn't matter if it's factual or not. If you are putting players into groups based on race..... it is racial...is it not?

That's one of the most preconceived, stereotypical statements I have heard in a long time. What you have done is:

    1) Assert that black QBs cannot throw - all they can do is run. False. Byron Leftwich is the antithesis of this statement; he is an textbook example of the prototypical pocket passer. Then you have guys like Matt Jones and Drew Bennett, white QBs in college whom were converted to wide receiver. We are going to see more athletic, mobile QBs from all races because that is what colleges are recruiting to run spread option attacks and other offenses that need mobile, dual-threat QBs (see Tebow, Tim and Mustain, Mitch for two examples of this);

    2) Imply that black QBs do not have enough intelligence to play the position. Once again, false. You cited Warren Moon and Doug Williams, I'll assert that the majority of black QBs today have to be as intelligent as their white peers if not more to hold their jobs, particularly in a post-Vick environment where every black QB has to prove that he can read defenses and throw to keep their jobs. Look at Jason Campbell. He's a young QB who plays decent, uses his mobility while maintaining pocket presence without making too many mistakes. He's progressing and by all accounts will be the QB in Washington for awhile.

Here are some examples besides the QBs listed of some other reasonably accurate black QBs.

    Randall Cunningham
    Byron Leftwich
    Daunte Culpepper (pre-ACL)
    Steve McNair (until 2005)
    Donovan McNabb
David Garrard (104.6 rating this year)

What you are spouting forth is not so subtle stereotypes, misconceptions and falsehoods at best. Are there going to be good black QBs and bad black QBs? Yes! Taravis Jackson just isn't that good, just like Alex Smith isn't all that good, or Brooks Bollinger isn't that good. A bad QB is a bad QB! Painting a whole group of people with one brush as you have just done magnifies and highlights the struggle that black QBs have gone through for acceptance and will continue to undergo as long as we prejudge groups of people.

But is "Dark Tower" referring to the Stephen King book series? Just a lil worthless aside there....but I felt I wasted a bit o time on those books :-/
