thats what your saying, I dont care about who has won in the past, because in the past, lineman didnt get over 220 lbs, running backs were long and lenky, wrs could run a 4.6 and be considered burners, todays athlete is different, Vy CAN be effective, just give him the tools.
Last year you saw Brady fail because he didnt have the receivers he had this year, your only as good as your worst player on the field. And receivers are by far our worst not just on the offense or the team, but the worst core in the NFL imo. Not only did he make the playoffs his 2nd year in the NFL, he got experience, he is still learning, I mean Eli Manning won his 1st playoff game on his 3rd try, and I dont think Giants fans are bashing him right now., Give VY time to develop please, idk why people wanted him gone as a rookie, and with an offense 10x better his rookie season, people eare still on him this season, if you give him the players and he still cannot produce, how can I argue?, the fact is we havent seen what he can do yet

 

We have no players on offense with the exception of VY and LenDale White

 

Comparing VY to Brady is stupid. Ok give Brady the same weapons. He would win. He is a Hall of Fame QB who may end up being the best of all time. Yea compare him to a second year QB who overthrows people in the flats and on curl routes.

 

Brady sure looked alot better failing than VY. We do need some big recievers but more than anything we need VY to get back to his winning spirit of last season.

Oh yeah - and to start running the football..

I'm not going to bash VY.. but in the same time i won't give him unearned credit just because he's supposed to be our QB of the future.

To be fair, Vince did little for us (to say the least) this season. I'm sure he'll improve next season if he decides to run again, but until then.. KFC might be a better option if V decides to become strictly a pocket passer.

We didn't draft him for his arm and good looks... We drafted him for his ability to become a double threat QB. However, if Chow decides to transforms into a pocket passer, then we should have drafted Mario Williams or Reggie Bush instead, and signed Kurt Warner who i believe was a free agent back then.

 

Hopefully, our coordinators will get hired away and we can get some good ones.
I don't know how we can dominate the first half and come back out and do nothing defensively the second. The offense was on the field more in the first so they couldn't have been that tired. They got no pressure on rivers in the second, he should have had 2 concussions and a broken leg had they played like they did in the first. There was just no energy on either side in the second, I don't know what they did at halftime but it was certainly wrong. I hope indy. slaughters them next week.
Good season though, nobody can complain much. I think We''ll be alot better next year. I hope we can get some good changes this offseason starting with Chow, and the "60 stretch far Laaa..." offense.

 

I'm not comparing him. I was just saying he would win with the players we have.

VY needs better weapons, but to say its the reason is just wrong. VY has to get better. I think he will. A better QB could make better with what VY has. The entire offense has got alot of work to do.
