I'm more interested in WIlliams. And if they won't take a 2nd, I think he's worth our late first. I'd take him over any WR we could get at spot #24.

I'd definately consider Williams, preferably for a 2. But I would do it for a 1 as well even tho teams don't normally do that. He greatly improves us. How much is up for debate, but you would be hard pressed to say he doesn't immediately give us an upgrade. There are about 6 teams who need a WR tho'. And the draft may be where they go get one. If they do, that hurts our chances. We've got Denver, Carolina, Chicago, Minnesota, Houston, Philadelphia, Tampa Bay, Buffalo, and maybe Dallas looking at a WR. I hear that the Broncos are looking to unload Javon Walker so they may take a WR to replace him too. That is a lot of teams looking for a WR. Too many. A trade now would be terrific given this reality.

Pac Man is the perfect guy for them as he fills two needs, shutdown corner, and return specialist, but let's be honest, nobody will want pac man. He is not an asset. He's worth garbage now. I think he will be back with us. He has nowhere else to go and we need him. The league will let him play in my opinion.

That is so far removed from the truth it's not funny. For September and October he played at a very high level, but since early November he has been horrible.

Two guys who we don't own the rights to and a 33 year old corner back. Sounds like a great deal. Might need to throw in a free large fries.

i hope so.. as long as he stays out of trouble, im hopeing he moves in with coach fisher so he can tame, him. maybe both of them can go to the strip clubs and make it rain on them H0's. lol j/p

but yeah i wouldnt trade pacman for Roy nor shaun.. he's proven that he can shutdown a reciever. and he's a big threat on kick/punt returns, without a doubt.

We did well without Pac and a great pass rush this year... why can't we do it again with an even better pass rush?

It's Matt Millen. (But then again, they need defense, so we're out of luck.)

Really? It's so far from the truth? You sure? Make sure you know what you're talking about before running in to something like this:

    Shaun Rogers:
    Tackles - 39
    Sacks - 7*
    FF - 0
    FR - 10 **
    Int - 1 *

    Albert Haynesworth:
    Tackles - 40*
    Sacks - 6
    FF - 0
    FR - 0
    Int - 0

Since I'm a swell guy, you don't have to come back in to this thread. :)

Defensive Tackle play can hardly be measured by statistics.

In the previous post you admitted that Detroit need Defense badly. So please explain why you would trade away someone who played "just as well" as the guy who finished 2nd in defensive MVP voting this season when you have him under contract?

If we had Albert under contract for another 2 years, do you think there would be any speculation about trading him away?

Rodgers is a cancer and does not pay hard. He's easily pushing 400lbs and is horrendously out of shape. No way in hell we trade for him.
