Must be a girl thing. I thought it was hilarious as well. That have taken all the testosterone out of football. What happen the days when they would mix it up then back it up. Afterwards Rivers was talking to the fans and there did not seem to be any ill will. No harm done.

Rivers is a complete idiot. I do not like him. Even though he does have a chip on his shoulder because of the draft things that happened. But hes a winer, and is an idiot. He is lucky to have the weapons he has, and the mentor in drew brees b4 he started.

Yeah, I was dissapointed in Rivers. Of course fans are going to yell at you, thats their team and they want them to win. In those situations you have to show class, and that was the same crap that new england did to them the year before and they didn't like it.

Before the season started I thought Rivers was a crappy QB and an immature head-case. After the season I think he is a good QB and an extremely immature head-case.

ive said b4, a long time ago, that this chargers team went under the radar last year because of their sucess, all anyone heard about was sucess, and people were happy. THis year they showed thier true character. Merriman, a few times this year has done some things uncalled for. Rivers is a complete immature head case. LT showed flashes of not being "100% classy" this year. Rivers was quiet when he had a limited role, and was winning under the radar. Now it seems as if since they are having success where it matters he doesnt know how to act.

What is all this philip rivers is now a leader. If that's how leaders act then he's probably the only leader in the nfl. You don't see brady and manning mixing it up with fans or trash talking players from the sidelines. Occasionally you'll see those guys mixing it up with guys on the field but rivers would never do that because he knows he'll get hammered because no one has respect for him. The only time he ever shows his intensity is when he's already been taken out for the game and players can't hit him. I think vince is trying to earn players around the leagues respect before he starts running his mouth.

I didn't like Rivers before, but after seeing him in Indy I'm starting to like him more.

As he was going to the lockers after his injury, and the dolt fans were booing
and giving him the finger, you could hear him say "Thank you , I appreciate that."
That's just funny, he wasn't cussing them out or anything.

What's the difference in that and when a visiting player scores and then puts up a finger to his mouth as if to "shush" the crowd?
