Of all the un-informed posts I've seen on this board regarding the Colts this one is probably the funniest.

One of things people can't seem to remember is that Polian is a master of the cap. Other teams consult him on such matters.

To the Peyton is garbage posters - it's going to be tough to get around the Colts as long as he is around.

As far as the loss to the Chargers, there was no bigger play than Harrison's fumble. Colts were about to go up 14-0 at that point. Took the steam right out of them. That said, there is no excuse for us to have let Volek march right down the field. THAT is a huge question mark.

Hmmm...Same could be said about Chris Browns fumble. And yes, your window is closing, it happens to every team. Get used to it.

You called it, that fumble by Brown really changed the complection of the game. If we scored instead of fumbled we would of had the momentum rolling. Oh well its in the past. You cant say the Colts era is over until Tennessee, or Jags, take the division. Now if Dungy does retire, that can be a huge blow to the Colts.

what ever happens with the colts doesnt scare me because we beat them once even with the backups in half the game and we should have beat them the first time. if b jones would have cought the ball. harrison is old now. dungy will retire. so that will def nock them down a couple games in the standings eventually. plus the cap looks ugly. i wonder which colt we will get this yr. it seems like we get a new one every yr. id like clark this yr. hahaha

I thought you were a decent poster until that comment.
    Trite and unoriginal.

BTW, the correct word you should have used was effect. "The cap will have no effect on this team".

    ef·fect –noun
    1. something that is produced by an agency or cause; result; consequence:

I'm from the south, and even I knew that...:moon2:

Thank you. I will keep that in mind next time I explain our cap situation.
