Show them this game as the ultimate satisfaction, that cheating whiners ain't the real deal. An unprecedented loss, but it happened nonetheless. Congrats to the Giants; their defense was brilliant tonight.

My pick, Patriots 30-17... Significant proof I couldn't pick a plum. After the first three quarters I just wanted the whole thing to be over, it was shaping up to be the most boring Super Bowl I'd ever seen.
But that fourth... Hoo boy, that really made up for it. What a win, what a story, and those shots of Plaxico right when it hit him and tears welled up, or Jeff Feagles telling his family to take it in... Beautiful.
Somehow, it felt like the good guys won today.

I'm sorry Junior Seau. :( Please don't retire... Also, wtf Eli as MVP? That's just as much bs as Peyton last year. The NFL loves their Mannings, I wouldn't be surprised if Archie is next year's MVP.

Eli Manning was just involved in the greatest play in Super Bowl history and probably the best Super Bowl in history. The defense deserved the MVP just as much but I guess you have to give it to 1 person.

Wow, you really think it was the best Super Bowl in history? Just goes to show what a difference of opinion can yield.

EDIT: Though I have to admit, Eli escaping to pass to Tyree... A thing of absolute beauty. An incredible effort.

lmao @ best superbowl. This was the worst superbowl I've ever watched. A complete bore other than 1 play, and it was absolute dumb luck.

see, that's why the nfl tries to make every game 49-42, because people don't appreciate defense anymore.

that was a fantastic game, but not the best.

It was completely boring for 3 and 1/2 quarters. I like defense too, but I want to see a big play at least once or twice before the 4th quarter.
This was the most boring game I've seen all season. If it wasn't titled "Super Bowl" nobody would even be talking about it. And if it wasn't the Patriots losing, everyone would say it was the worst superbowl they've ever witnessed.
It was complete slop. Brady overthrowing wide open receivers without being pressured. Eli just throwing stupid passes that'd normally be picked off, but somehow his receivers turning just in time to see them. And blown coverage for the go ahead TD. Doesn't get much worse.
