these seem to be the best options at WR so lets c

    Stally:
he already rejected us once...so idn if we'll even pursue him. although the titans need speed and his 4.2 time makes him one of the fastest recivers in the game. although it seems like his injures have slowed him down a little. also i like his hands...even back @ the U of tennessse he was given the nickname 'hands' for his catching ability and we're all tired of c-in our recivers drop passes. plus its alwas nice to get a former Tenn star.

    Bernard:
with respect to age/potential he's got teh upper hand. he is a big young physical specimen showed by his blockin abily/26 bench reps and his 6 foot frame. he has shown that he can be star even w/ teh bears an basically no help....had an excellent yr when they had some1 to play qb. although he doesnt hv the deep speed (4.6 40-time).

    my choice - stally
im thinkin that we'll end up draftin a WR nyway in the 1st...even if we get one of these guys...and it might end up being sweed. him being a phsycial reciver along w/ gage should be enough...however he doesnt hv the deep speed we need.

    .....opinions..

Neither. Both are mediocre and the best of a bad FA class. Reinfeldt has already said he's going to fill more depth up than anything else with free agency. Don't expect many moves

I can't disagree too much that Stallworth is overrated. But this year's FA class of WRs looks pretty good, not weak.

I dont mean to be a jerk, but you just proved that you have never seen Bernard Berrian play a game of football in your life. His blocking ability is nonexistent, and they have even mentioned that on replays during some of the games. He refuses to go over the middle and is afraid of contact. And yes, Berrian does have deep speed ability. Just because his 40 time is 4.6 doesnt mean jack. He is a solid deep threat, but we need a complete receiver.

    Seriously dude...watch a game.

When DJ Hackett is the best receiver on the market (no, its not Stallworth or Berrian), then something is wrong. This class is extremely weak.

We need a reliable target. Noone of those above are that.

To add to your comments on Berrian;I didn't like the way he often became invisible on the field when things went south for the Bears.

On paper he had great stats but he was regularly crticised last season for losing interest & being of on his routes.Playing for the Bears doesn't excuse his inconsistent play & sulky attitude.

I wouldt say that Berrian had a bad attitude, its just that his only route that he runs decently is the "go" route. Rex Grossman throws a great deep ball, but he wasnt in the whole season. Berrian cant succeed without the deep pass, which Orton and Griese had trouble throwing.

i was actually talkin to some ppl at uni bout him...couple bears fans and thats where they told me that he was a decent blocker....and still he's young...he's only been startin now for 2 years...an w/ a bench of 26 he can easily become a dominant blocker....

well your buddies cant comprehend what is happening in front of them. I remember a play vividly where his refusal to block a defender cost the Bears a rushing TD
