Bengals | Former teammate says C. Johnson punched Lewis
    Fri, 7 Mar 2008 12:09:26 -0800

Mark Curnutte, of The Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cleveland Browns DL Shaun Smith, a former Cincinnati Bengal, said that Bengals WR Chad Johnson had an altercation with head coach Marvin Lewis and wide receivers coach Hue Jackson, who is now with the Baltimore Ravens. There was reportedly a video on YouTube of Smith making comments about the fight but the video was removed. "He swung on Marvin. (Johnson) shattered the training room glass. He swung on Marvin (and) hit Marvin in the eye. Then he tried to swing on wide receivers coach Hue Jackson, who's now in Baltimore."

Dunno if I'd want him here if that's true...

We dont need that crap on our team. Not to say it would happen, but he has to big of an ego and demands way to much attention. Plus...there is no way we are getting him anyway, so some people should just stop thinking it could happen.

I don't buy the story for a damn second. I saw the video before they pulled it from Youtube. He also says Marvin's shiner from the next day's press conference is the proof in the pudding. Well here's the pics from that press conference and Marvin has the same eye baggage as he always has (which I'm certain he got from the long term grief of coaching that team) but clearly no shiner.

Shaun Smith is a drama queen hamming it up in front of a bunch of Brownies none the less..

If you think an NFL player jacks his head coach in front of other players and coaches and gets off scott-free - without a word, then signs a huge contract in the same offseason, or there is some magical team cover-up then I have some land in Centennial Park I'd like to sell you..

    Random Marvin on field shot

Chad is a whiney child-man who needs to suck on a tube sock rather than continue to run his ever gaping pie-hole, but I don't believe for a second that he jacked Marvin that night..

I'm all for passion, but the guy's just an idiot. A T-O wannabe. I don't want him on our team. Pacman may be better for our team than that overrated, moron. He gives the Bengals organization a bad name (but at the same time he gives them so much hype).

Who remembers the whole "camera" incident last season when he scored on us, that really pissed me off, real classy.

Camera incident? Damn .... the guy was on a scoring drought and after getting his first in a while he celebrated a bit. Didn't know everyone has a stick up their a**.

And Chad Johson is not OVERRATED.
