you're right...mr is still an idiot, people need to stop praising him because he picked up mediocre talent in free agency.

 

That's the point, there's nothing but mediocre talent in FA now. The only difference between us and other teams is we get that. We're not the ones paying mediocre talent, all-star money. I really question what you guys are crying about. You don't want mediocre talent, yet would complain to the end of days if we signed Berrian to the deal he got in Minnesota. Make your minds up. Also, how can you call Antonio Johnson, Jacob Ford, Paul Williams, Bryce Fisher and Michael Otto mediocre talent when they have not even played a single snap? Especially when Johnson and Otto were garnering a lot of praise in camp last year from their respective position coaches.

 

I forgot. That makes 3 solid players out of 16. Basically, if we're expecting MR to build through the draft and FA his way, we're screwed.
He wont ever pony up and pay anyone big money, even if they're already on our team. So expect Albert gone, KVB when is contract is up, and so on.

 

Our offense got worse. 1 player made our defense better. So you can stop using that one.

I think all of his signings in FA so far were very good.

Scott is a very good guard that is better than Bell and younger. Doesn't hurt he came 1 million cheaper.

Alge improves our TE group and has experience playing with a mobile QB. He is a savvy vet that is a top 5 TE when healthy. I see him returning to form and becoming VY's safety blanket.

Kearse is a low risk high reward signing. I think he makes some noise as a pass rusher this year and plays pretty solid.

All came pretty cheap too. I would like to see us sign BJ and Eugene before the draft. Hadnot for depth wouldn't hurt either

Now I'm not saying he's done a great job but he's done much better than last year imo. Now if he can top it off with a solid Draft class then I'll say he is legit.

 

I still don't think Reinfeldt knows what he's doing. The Scott signing was good. The Crumpler signing was pretty good. The Kearse signing was sort of stupid. I can't wait to see who we pick in the draft...it scares me.

 

Hey, lay off "The Gloat". At least he is consistent. I mean, his favorite college team is one that is mediocre, yet pays to remain in the spotlight.
