Not too bad for us at all IMO. At least for me, personally, I cannot cheer for this guy anymore. If he goes on and succeeds with Dallas or another team, good for him. I just don't see the downside to getting at least something for the guy. I don't want to downplay his abilities but he has only had one outstanding season in his career. Let's not make it sound like he is a hall of famer and impossible to replace.

Let's be honest. If this guy was originally drafted by the Colts, would there be all this sentiment for wanting to get him on this team by individuals on this board? I don't think so. It simply makes sense for the Titans to rid themselves of the draft mistake, the risks, the headaches and move on. Titans made the playoffs without him and are only going to get better from here on out.

I think our front office have been reeling from one mistake to another. They made the safe pick in Kevin Dyson over Randy Moss and got burned badly. Since then they made the better player pick in Albert Hanyesworth over John Henderson and Pacman Jones over Antrell Rolle. Now Big Al was one infraction away from Pacman's situation, but after one good season all is forgotten. Now in Pacman situation, business wise it would be in our best interest to keep him, he'sunder contract for two years, right now he is costing us nothing, and if he doesn't play he cost us nothing. If he plays, and plays good, we are talking about a second or third round pick next year. Right now if we trade him for a six round pick, that's like playing deal or no deal with a million dollar case and a $1 case, and accepting a deal for $500.

Our front office need to be like a quarterback, throw an interception, don't look back and keep throwing. If we keep trying to make up for past mistakes we never be better than a wild card team.

You're right, more evidence that he doesn't get it. He "takes responsibility" for everything, but says that nothing is his fault. He says he's the best CB/KR out there. He says he'll make any team better by at least two wins. You're buying it? Well, last time he said he'd only go to jazz clubs. He's actively trying to get out of Nashville and into Dallas. You want to keep him? Really? Wow.

My favorite is when he says that it "ain't no sin going to strip clubs." Amazingly, he's corrected by Irvin, who points out that there is sin involved, it just doesn't happen to be against the law. Talk about a guy who doesn't get it.

You guys that keep saying that it is a bad business decision are really saying that you think that the likelihood of him getting in trouble is less than the value of a 6th round pick. I'd like you to support that with evidence. We've heard his story a thousand times and a thousand times, he's just repeated the same behavior. I have no reason to believe that a 6th rounder isn't excellent value at this point. On the other side of the coin, I think that I would rather see him sit on the bench until his contract is up, he gets a lifetime ban, killed, or sent to prison... whichever comes first. He doesn't deserve the out that we are giving him, really.

One good season doesn't make him a pro bowl lock. He's been out of football for a year and that one good season didn't make me forget just how bad he was as a rookie.

Uh. Just how bad was he as a rookie? I must have been watching someone else. Oh - wait. Nevermind. Rookie CBs are supposed to lock Marvin Harrison down. Silly me.
