right, but if the risk is a fumble, but the reward is a touchdown, fisher gives the nod to pacman.

if the risk is a fumble and the return is 9 yards, fisher pulls the guy who gets 9 yards for the guy who can catch the ball.

Fisher went back to Davis at the end of the year, so I don't think he'll give up on him. IIRC, he even took the ball out of Pac's hands for awhile when he got fumbleitis.

Back to Carr, it seems kinda weird his PR avg has been so low in the pros. Normally guys who are quick (even if they lack top end speed) can do well at PR. I can't claim to have seen the guy, but his measurables for 3 cone and short shuttle are really good. Kinda similar to Bobby Wade iirc. Carr was an excellent punt returner in college....20 yards per return, NCAA all time leader.

Maybe he has it in him but Raiders PR blocking was not so good? It'll be interesting if he at least gets some reps there.

Apparently it's something along the lines of 2 years for $2 million.

He had also visited the Bills, Panthers and Browns and was given offers from Carolina and Cleveland. Sounds like allot of teams were interested in his versatility since he can play safety, corner and do returns. Should be a solid pickup.

I'm excited about it. I think he could bring a lot of good things to this team, especially with Pac gone. As a Titans fan, this whole Pacman ordeal has really worn me out, I love the guy, but I hate him so much for what he's done. In the end, I'm willing to move forward and Chris Carr could be Pac's replacement, possibly even Harpers.

Yeah I think it was a solid pick up by the FO. Brings some solid return skills to the club which we have been lacking since Pac's departure. I'm hoping he developes into a solid CB for us as well to provide good depth or even start some day he is still young so you never know.

They couldn't possibly spend any more money on cornerbacks. Johnnie Lee Figgins was brought in to do returns for them and will fill that role.

Does anyone have any idea how many supplemental draft picks we will pick up based on the talent that we lost?

Personally, I don't think we really need a corner as much as we need a wr! What I would do is not trade Pac, but redo his contract to where it states that if he gets into any trouble at all, he's out of the league for good! Plus he won't get paid! Pac has more talent IMO than this guy!
