Of course we'll hear from all the usuall suspects that will tell us the posts in this thread don't know what they're talking about and that Reachfeldt is a genius and how the teams getting better........

This Draft is an absolute Joke and IMO anyone who thinks it's even as good as a c+ should stick to watching NASCAR on Sundays.

 

Nah, trading up to draft a player not included in the list of 800 players likely to be drafted makes perfect sense.

This was a "panick" pick. I believe we traded up to get Caldwell or Manningham but once again we were duped a few picks ahead. I REALLY fault our draft stategy- this was a TOTAL backfire. We threw away our fifth with this move. We should have drafted Manningham or Caldwell in the third and then picked the TE in the fourth.

Every round has been a C-F.

 

Riverman, I agree whole-heartedly, actually, with our 1st OR 2nd we could've addressed the main issue of WR, and then picked based on need the rest of the draft. Instead, it's been a free-fall ever since the first pick, and our Front Office has shown their original mistake by compounding it with the ensuing picks. Look at all the talent that has gone by as we have picked in order to justify our 1st.

Along with 32 other teams. And no WR went in the 1 st. All those other teams must have been wrong as well.. imagine that.

 

we should have traded up if we wanted him, but even after that Manningham was there for us in the third but we take a tight end. But once again we wait until the fourth round to take a reciever that nobody's ever heard of. I'm sure Vince is absolutely livid right now.

 

Nobody said they were wrong, but our OBVIOUS BIGGEST NEED AREA even said by our Front Office was getting Vince a downfield weapon. So we needed a WR more than any other team in the league purely for Vince. We didn't succeed at all, and then ended up reaching on 3 consecutive picks, so either way, you say we would've reached by taking a WR in the 1st, but we end up reaching on our next 3 picks? The value at WR was so much higher in the 1st and 2nd than it was in the 3rd and 4th. But I hope you're happy with getting LaVelle Hawkins and James Jones, instead of Red Bryant and Limas Sweed.
