    Uh wow Overalls.

Even in a college option type offense, you'd still get prolly 20 completions due to screens, and short hitches.

Not to compare the Titans with NE, but it is proven that you can be VERY effective using bubble screens in the NFL too. Brady to Welker on a 2 yard pass turned into an instant first down. With Chris Johnson, if their isn't anyone open, you can dump it off to him or Crumpler and let them make some yardage with it.

You perplex me. Basically you are saying if your pick isn't better than EVERY other pick of a DIFFERENT position, you're GM and coach are wrong. Sounds ridculously stupid to me.

I totally disagree. RW is an absolute stud at receiver. I don't think we should give up 3 picks for him, but I'd gladly give up a 1st rounder.

So you are saying you would rather have a situational RB than the top WR in the draft when absolutly no one in the NFL is even remotely concerned with the WRs your team has.

I can see why you would be perplexed. I can see why you don't get it. I can see why you would feel the need to believe an idea that the majority of the football knowing public holds is "ridculously stupid" to you. You are after all a Titans fan.

FWIW, Charlie Casserly said today on Sirius radio that his sources told him that the Texans were targeting both Chris Johnson and Chris Jenkins who were chosen right before their pick which caused them (in his opinoin) to reach a little bit in their selection of Duane Brown. He said initially the Texans thought that USC T Sam Baker would be there at 26 but when the Panthers traded up to get him they set their sights on Chris Johnson. He thought Antoine Cason or trading down (and still getting Brown) would have been a better option for the Texans.

I love the idea of the Titans getting a #1 wideout, I just don't think there was an obvious one available in the draft (the fact that one was selected until the second round kind of backs that up).

No overalls. In an effort to keep Gut's coming home party to ending in smack central, i'll answer rationally...

Who in your opinion was the top WR in the draft? And why did they slide completely out of the first round. NOBODY wanted to take a risk on them in the 1st, and we had a little snag with Pitt picking Sweed right before us.

There were no Calvin Johnson's... those can't miss WRs in this draft.
If you have an idea that the "majority of the football knowing public" know about these Wrs, please tell me. I am, after all, a Titans fan.

So you are a believer in the Charlie "David Carr is great" Casserly school of thought huh?

The Texans may have reached for the best O-lineman available at a need position. The Titans reached to get a player at a spot that they had targeted for the two prior drafts.

I love how trolls love to pick and choose who they respond to. If your going to insult me, respond to what I have have to say Overalls. Maybe call us old-school around here, but we tend to give people a little more courtesy than to ignore them.

Lets try and actually have a conversation, without stupid little quips or what not.

Is that where you guys get your wins these days? The offseason? The titans aren't playing this offseason.
