Any Mac Lovers figured this out?

I am trying to make some backups of our kids dvd's. They seemed to get trashed somehow.

I am still foreign to Mac's, but it seems to me that I need Mac the Ripper and either Roxio Toast or Popcorn.

Is there a freeware way so that I don't have to purchase toast or popcorn?

I did the same a few years back with a bunch of the kids DVDs to keep in the car. I used Mac the Ripper and Popcorn. I wasn't able to find a shareware program which would do it.

There may be something better out now.

Thanks Starkiller. Will give it a try. Do I just need to Rip it and burn it as a .cdr? This stuff is very new to me.

  4. I've never used it myself, so I don't know...

You can get mactheripper and the burn with toast. There is also a program called DVDcopy that is more a all-in-one, but haven't used it alot.
