Not good percentages by any means. These are the same guys VY has been throwing to for 3 years, I don't think that the WRs have regressed that much. Yes, there have been some drops, as there have been bad passes. I think for sake of compromise, the blame goes 50/50 on WR/QB. The TEs are afforded with much easier and catchable balls in my opinion as evidenced in the ratio.

The comparison between WRs and TEs is bad, they're getting very different types of passes thrown at them. It's also a VERY small sample size. Interesting, nonetheless.

I wonder what the statistical difference between TEs and WRs is league-wide.

Wow. Paul Williams with 2 catches on 12 thrown balls? Good on him. Glad we're a run first throw never kind of a team.

Will we ever know what Vine *could* have been? I guess we (and he) will be caught with a curious face, shaking our heads, with hands making our torso look like a W

Nice article. Thanks. Data speaks for itself. Crumpler and Johnson will be 1 and 2 in recieving yards.

To be honest if i'm Vince I look for any way to get out of Tennessee. This organization has not shown any real commitment to helping him and they have a long history of not paying for talent. In my opinion he is in a no win situation. Even if he does improve (he has a lot of room to do this) he will not be supported by the franchise.

I agree that the sample size is not ideal but the league wide results of this stat hold that it is a pretty solid indicator of a receivers ability to catch the ball. Randy Moss has caught passes from several different QBs and his numbers are virtually the same with each one.

It is time to get this guy some help. VY is not the most prolific passer in history but the guy is getting no help. Numbers don't lie and who cares what the average is around the league.... When you have an average passer you better damn sure give him the help he is gonna need. Call the cards and put an offer out. The guy is going nowhere in Arizona anyway. Hell I would want out.
