So, you're roughly 6'4 and run close to a 4.45 forty.

Surely you played college ball somewhere....

Actually I didn't hit any college sports. I'm very lean. I couldn't make it in football. I was more tennis, golf, and basketball for a church that I still play for. Track coach tried to recruit me but interfered with tennis season.

I'm a little over 6'3. I've only been clocked a few times. It's always been around that 4.4 to 4.6 region. So 4.5 is about where I'm at.

Ok...I stand corrected. It is a big deal...cause its against the law.

But all these people in this thread who say they run a 4.4-4.5 forty are funny. I dont think you understand how fast that really is. When I was going to school at APSU, we had a guy on the team who ran a 4.38-4.4. He was a short guy, but he had NFL scouts coming to our practices just to time him in the 40. If you ran a 4.4-4.49, there would be no reason you shouldnt be doing something to take advantage of that speed.

Hell, if I ran a 4.4 I would just walk up and challenge people to races. !!! LOL !!! But IMO, unless you were electronicly timed, and I am not talking about a stop watch, I wouldnt throw out the 4.4 speed.

My parents never let me play organized football growing up. When me and some buddies got the bright idea we could walk on at a small school, we started emailing coaches.
We were invited to walk on at Lambuth, Hiram (OH), Birmingham Southern, Kenyon, Kentucky Christian, Faulkner, and Becker either offered a walk on position or asked us to call regarding the possibility of walking on.
Trinity Bible in ND actually gave us partial scholarships (for academics) if we went there. They sent LOI, recruiting packet, the whole nine yards. Coach even called me a couple of times.
We were planning on going but we had some financial difficulties that prevented it, among other things
If you want to play college ball, coaches will offer you walk on positions.

There are players who have played in the NFL with no HS football experience but they loved the game and walked on at the schools that they went to.
