Just finished watching Sapp take big Al to task for his play Sunday. I thought there were times that he disappeared against the Ravens but didn't think much of it. Just attributed it to the injuries on the line. However, the plays that they did show, he was not playing well. He looked like the old Albert... It makes you really want to think hard about dropping a boatload of money on him in the offseason.

What? I thought he made a huge difference from when he was in and when he wasn't...

the stats don't lie, he deserves the money..

That's it? His play in one game wasn't great (or however he worded it, I didn't see it)? Come on Sapp, you're supposed to be a loud mouth saying something actually good enough to get people to talk.

He just illustrated that he was handled pretty well in the game and showed a few plays to validate his point. And while I think some of it is Sapp not wanting Al to be mentioned in the same breath as him.. I think there was some validity to it. It wasn't his best game and the plays that they did show looked like pre 2007 Albert.

That was a bad game? I have to admit, I'm not analyzing tape, and maybe he isn't jumping over the center on a goalline play and single-handedly stopping a scoring drive, but come on--he's a DT I'm hearing analysts call the best defensive player in the league right now, and if that's a terrible game for him, I'd let him pick which WR to trade for and how many times we throw to him.

(And he's as effective against the run as he is against the pass, unlike Sapp.)

WTF happened to him after the Gurode thing? It's almost unbelievable that someone finally would actually learn a lesson, appreciate their opportunities even more, and actually get better after an incident. Fingers crossed, obviously, but has such a self-afflicted negative thing ever sparked a career to another level like this?

Per forum rules, I'm not allowed to put into words my feelings for Warren Sapp. There are few players that I dislike/don't respect more.

6-14 without Haynesworth right? Pretty amazing stat right there when we have won as many games as we have.

Thats funny, ive heard atleast 3 NFL analyst including COACH DITKA, say that ALbert is the best defensive threat in the league. It would be to un true if he was an absolute animal every single game of the year. Cmon dude last year when he was out we looked like the Lions. Give me a break.
