Titans Hopeful to Clinch AFC South Title on Sunday

    SUMMARY: Tennessee Titans Coach Jeff Fisher is hopeful his team can wrap up the AFC South Division title Sunday with a win over the Browns but says his focus is on the game itself. "The important thing is to go out and win the ball game," said Fisher. "Obviously, we know what’s at stake. It certainly will be a great opportunity to do it here at home in front of the fans. They’ve been just tremendous all year in support, they’ve helped us all along the way. It would be a great afternoon but it’s not going to be easy. This is a very, very solid football team we’re playing."

    I an really afraid that we will loose to the brown, they'll seek revange from last year when we took their playoff spot. Oh well, go Titans. If the Titans play like they did in the 1st half of the season I really think they'll come to Tampa.

    Oh come on! the browns are 4-8, playing with a 3rd string scrub at QB and don't have winslow.

    Revenge? For what they have sucked so bad this year what do they are about last year. The main motivation they would have is to play hard to keep their coach because he is probably going to lose his job if things don't turnaround but they don't have the man power to beat us.

    2 wins away from clintching home field.

    Win this one and the texans game and the last 2 won't matter. We can rest people and let vince play some.

    Better yet win sunday and have the gayboys beat the steelers and home field is ours with 3 games left!

    Isn't the race for homefield a little tighter than that? We'll start everyone for Pittsburgh...we have to, we may face them in the playoffs.

    We have a 2 game lead on the steelers. If we win the next 2 and they lose one it's over and we have home field. The steelers play the cowboys sunday and at baltimore next week. They can lose one of those.

    No matter how it stacks up for them to get home field they have to win 4 games and we have to lose 2.

    I'm normally the one who is doubtfull of the upcoming game. But truth is.....If we lose to the Browns then we need to do some serious evaluating.

    This week we should be going to the backups in the 4th quarter.

    Chance for AFC SOUTH Title? That is more than enough motivation.....see Lions game. Their first loss and they come back and obliterate, even if it was the dreadful Lions.
