Podcast: More Terrible Towel reaction

Shut up ESPN, we've heard enough of your crap...

 

Hard to believe they're taking time away from reporting about Brett Farve, or the Cowboy's dramas...

 

why do all the talking heads keep insisting that the Squeelers will be more hyped up to win the game after the stomping..

as if holding up the Lombardi trophy, being crowned as 'world champions' and flying home with a championship ring isn't enough drive to force each and every player on both sides of the ball to play their hearts out.

 

Jeremy Green (and his lover, Pod Vader) called the Titans "whiners"... said they were sick of the Titans. Not sure where they got this one but said that when the Titans lose, they're always whining about the refs and the calls they didn't get, or whining about someone stomping on their logo.

Uh... 'splain that one to me again? I believe after our 2 losses this year the comments were "we got beat". It's a shame Lendale only had a Terrible Towel - it would have been better if they had some ESPN towel to stomp on.

 

This has carried on long enough. Let's move on.

I like that... and why stop at towels? I hereby declare LP Field a Free Stomping Zone! Each week we will show our ingenuity by stomping a different opponent's symbol of our choosing.

2008: OUT - Lambeau Leap.
2009: IN - Tennessee Tromp.

ESPN will love the controversy and put it on their silly highlight reels. "Oh those silly Tennesseans", they'll say. "They just love to stomp down there!". Together we can lift the shame Lendale and friends have brought upon our beloved organization, and turn it into our city's identity!! Then when people criticize the stomp - we can cry like the Steeler's fans:

"Oh, but you don't realize what the stomp represents!! It is more than a stomp - it is a symbol of our great city! It represents the mighty feet of freedom marching to stomp out injustice! It represents the perseverance of the human spirit!" All who hate the stomp must also hate liberty and little puppies - and therefore will be punished by the football gods (see this will also give our defense the right to target opposing players with illegal hits, as the towel has done for PIT).
