Turner suffers from the dropsies though, a la Braylon Edwards/Terrell Owens. He's big and tall, quite a target.

He wasn't the #1 target at SC by the end of the season, Damien Williams took over that spot.

Good gravy: I heard Tim Ryan and Pat Kirwan today on Sirius saying Hakeem Nicks' teammate, Brooks Foster, who is coming back from an awful leg injury, would make a team happy in the second round. Foster apparently ran 4.44 at his pro day, and he was always known as the strongest receiver -- 27 reps on the bench at the combine.

I've always been high on Foster, assuming he comes back healthy from his injury, but dang second round? He must be really moving up.

I don't think anything could justify that. I dunno. I didn't see him play at all. Heard 2006 was his best year, though, and he had 400+ yards and 2 TDs?

Even if we get Holt I like Ramses Barden in the second round he catches everything and we need a WR that can make the tough catch.

    Please...

Someone take Foster in rnd 2...that just leaves more legit 2nd rndrs to fall to US!!!

No WAY is Foster going in rnd 2 unless he hypnotized a GM. He's an excellent athlete but doesn't translate that to the field. He's taller, more agile, and faster than Nicks...and yet Nicks destroys him in production. And consider Foster had a knee problem (and I think didn't want any part of the Senior Bowl)...I don't see how he could be moving up draft boards. We already knew he ran a 4.4 40. I CAN'T see it!

Currently he doesn't run good routes, has some iffy hands...and that's a bad combo. Who would you take him over? Britt? Robiskie? Iglesias? Mike Thomas? I think a BEST case scenario for Foster is rnd 4...IF someone fell in love with him...but I can't see how that would happen when he's not PLAYING! He's most likely a 5-6th rnd pick someone will take for his athleticism and hope the 'gamble' works out.

    Gut
