manning, farve, two great qbs, had the mental toughness to get though the years pretty ok. they never quit on their teams.

  2. Wow! Questioning peoples fan hood.

No I was saying if Collins had more time he may have learned the system. So the answer would be I don't know who the better QB was. That is not the point anyhow. Either defenses figured Young out or he regressed. Either way KFC is the better qb for the Titans right now.

  3. yes but its a rare characteristic that a young athlete carries. Even collins didnt carry it either early in his career...this is a big learning experience for young. people learn from their mistakes and eventually benefit them.....before you succeed you first need to learn how to lose!

  4. how do you collins is the better qb right now, he needs to actually have a chance to see whos better!

learn to lose??? really. he is a grown man. did i have to learn how to be layed off??? no, it just happened. nothing i could do with it. so i picked my self up, and moved on.

  7. first off getting laid off and learning to lose is two diff things.....vince has won at every level without struggle, which means it will be tough for him mentally to actually struggle at this level

Do you think it would benefit the team to put VY in as QB next season? Inserting an inconsistent, turnover prone, immature QB in the middle of a legitimate superbowl contention run is reckless. Last year our offense finally found some stability scoring TDs and KC managed the team well. It makes absolutely no sense to jeopardize a season to see if "the vince experiment" will work, you never know when the window will slam shut.

You don't sign a veteran QB to an extension the same amount of years remaining on "your franchise QB" contract and name him the starter if you are confident in VY. The writing is on the wall for anyone willing to read it.

TitansWillWin, Ewker has been consistent from the beginning about his feelings on Young. He's also been here the entire time, though he doesn't post every 2 minutes. It's hard for me to give you much credit for the berating that you're giving him given that you weren't around to hear his consistent story over the past few years.

Whether or not you agree with them, there have certainly been people on here who weren't sold on Young from the beginning.

I was never a fan of Vince's at UT, didn't think he was the second coming of the Messiah after that incredible Rose Bowl win over USC, and didn't expect him to be our savior either. BUT I am realistic enough to understand that Vince brings much more positives at the QB position than KFC.

Not to just completely knock KFC because he did a really good job for us. But KFC's roof is much shorter than Vince's. KFC and CJ don't really have the same impact as Vince and CJ do. That is not being a VY jock rider, just saying Vince has more game and makes our offense more dangerous than KFC.
